We honor and support our elders and families by offering culturally Asian healthcare services. True to giving back. True to paying it forward. Their money.

Kin On was born out of a deep need and the generous support the Asian community. We were one of the first Asian language nursing homes in America and have become the inspiration for many since our inception in 1985. More than 30 years later, we continue to expand our offerings in both depth of care and the types of options we provide. Meanwhile, we are preparing for one the greatest influxes of new elders our country has ever seen. Perhaps you or someone you know will be among them? No one knows what the future holds, but our present is quite clear: Those who give; Their time. Their talents make Kin On possible. and will ensure our work for decades to come. As a community supported 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, Kin On relies heavily on our community’s generosity. No matter how big or small, your contributions are vital in enabling Asian elders and disabled adults in the greater Seattle area to receive health and social services tailored to their language, culture and heritage. One way to give back to the community is to become a volunteer at Kin On! Last Friday, we co-hosted a Fall Mahjong Night with InspirASIAN at our Rehab & Care Center. Around 100 participants joined residents for a fun evening of mahjong! 🀄✨

A big thank you to everyone who came to support Kin On’s mission, and a special shout out to the volunteers from Microsoft and Tai Tung Restaurant for providing food for the event!

🌺 Aloha from Hana Hou Ukulele Band! 🌺

Last Wednesday, October 29, the Hana Hou Ukulele Band brought the warmth of Hawaii to our Rehab & Care Center with a heartwarming performance of traditional melodies and dances! 🎶🌴 Their uplifting music and island spirit left everyone wishing for “hana hou!” — an encore, as they say in Hawaiian. 💕

🎉 We have a WINNER for the Kin On & Lee Family Hole-In-One Challenge!!!

Congratulations to Jack Eng for making a hole-in-one at the 16th Hole at the Bill Wright Golf Course on October 9, 2025! ⛳️ Jack’s amazing golf achievement triggered a $2,000 donation from the Lee Family to Kin On, supporting our ongoing mission to provide compassionate care for Asian elders.

✨ On Saturday, September 27, we had the honor of celebrating Kin On’s 40th Anniversary Gala at the Hyatt Regency Lake Washington!

The evening welcomed over 400 guests and raised an incredible $303,560 in support of our mission. We are especially grateful for the proclamation from Seattle Mayor Bruce Harrell and the heartfelt keynote from Washington State Representative Sharon Tomiko-Santos, which set a truly meaningful tone for the night.
