Congratulations to Kelley-Ross employees Scott Herzog and Danika Woo! Last weekend Scott Herzog, our COO, was sworn in as President-Elect of the Washington State Pharmacy Association ( ). Pharmacist intern Danika Woo has been selected as Jr. Student Director to represent the University of Washington School of Pharmacy ( ). Many thanks to our Kelley-Ross employees’ efforts in advocacy with our local and state level pharmacy associations!

Congratualtions Annalisa Thomas! We are so proud of you!

Congratulations to Annalisa Thomas for being awarded the Washington State Distinguished Young Pharmacist of the Year!

Annalisa is a pharmacist with Kelley-Ross Pharmacy Group and manages the downtown clinic-based community pharmacy location. She earned her Pharm.D. from the University of Washington in 2014 and then completed a community pharmacy practice residency with Kelley-Ross. During her residency, she implemented the HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) clinic, the first of its kind in the country. She continued as a part of the clinical team, providing various patient care services, and eventually moved into a management position. In this role, she has had the privilege of working with an exceptional team to develop and expand unique models for several services, including HIV PrEP, travel medicine, hepatitis C treatment, opioid overdose prevention, and, most recently, clinic events providing COVID-19 vaccinations. She has precepted dozens of students, collaborated with many community organizations and partners in public health, and has enjoyed contributing to interprofessional cooperation's innovative solutions. We are excited to celebrate her accomplishments. Congrats, Annalisa!

King County Public Health is launching Laced & Lethal, a campaign to increase awareness of fentanyl-laced drugs and to promote youth access to the opioid reversal agent, Naloxone. Learn more:

With drug overdose and deaths rising alarmingly among youth, King County today launched a new fentanyl overdose prevention campaign, targeted specifically to reach young people between the ages of 14 to 18 years old. Called Laced & Lethal, the campaign is designed to teach teens about the risk of buying pills and powders potentially laced with fentanyl, a powerful and often deadly drug. We are proud to be partnering with Public Health - Seattle & King County on this important issue.

Educating King County residents about the dangers of fentanyl. Empowering the community to obtain and carry naloxone to reverse overdose deaths.
