Regardless of where in the world a mom may be, with an internet connection and a computer or smartphone she can have instant access to a support group - no need to pack a diaper bag or even get out of her PJs. It's a safe place where struggling mothers can talk to other moms and get support and understanding, as well as seek professional help in their own area. The site does not endorse any one treatment plan, provider, medication, etc.

If you have ever had PPD or PPP and wish to have another child, or are dealing with a mental illness, I strongly endorse making an action plan for yourself when you are in a good place. The following link has one of THE BEST wellness recovery action plans I have ever seen. Please take a look at this site for yourself and for your clients/patients! It is EXCELLENT!!

I feel very strongly that anyone who has ever had mental health difficulties needs to develop for themselves, while they are well, a crisis plan such as the one that follows. This plan allows us to maintain some degree of control over our lives even when it feels like everything is out of control.
