🌊 Resident Elston Hill is back in The Seattle Times’ Reader’s Lens — this time with a stunning shot of a sea lion mid‑jump at the Port of Seattle's Shilshole Bay Marina.
Elston shared that he and his wife spent much of this past winter walking out to the breakwater to watch the sea lions. Most of the time the sea lions lie around barking, but on this particular day there was a lot of jumping — and with patience (and a powerful lens!), he captured the perfect leap.

A sea lion doing more then the usual lounging is this week's pick for Reader's Lens. Spot something interesting on an outing? Here's how to submit your photos.
