Our fellow resident, Bill Pitlick, took the stage for a Resident Revelations presentation, sharing his passion for rowing! 🚣♂️ As a member of the University of Washington rowing team in the 1960s, Bill recounted stories from his time on the water and taught us about the different oars used in rowing, even sharing a memorable race he competed in later in life.
Fun fact: in collegiate rowing, the winning crew gets to keep the losing team’s shirts — talk about a unique trophy. Thanks for sharing your love of the sport with us, Bill!
📸 A special thank‑you to resident Elston Hill for capturing these wonderful photos.
