This two-hour class is open to all expectant Black families and pregnant people of the diaspora. The class will be taught by Shevonne Tsegaye, an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), and will be offered at no cost. With the majority of IEPs written in March, April, and May we’re launching a series for the next four months to make understanding the special education system easier for parents and caregivers. Tuesday night, Rachel Nemhauser from The Arc of King County will present We’ll also have an opportunity for people to talk with one another.

Well the nirsevimab (Beyfortus) RSV antibody roller coaster was an exciting ride while it lasted. Unfortunately Sanofi dramatically underestimated interest in this product and only manufactured, like, 10 doses. They have not signaled any intention to increase production or meet demand this season. I'll keep my little stock-bot refreshing the listing just in case we can buy some directly from Sanofi, but it's not looking good.

In the meantime, if you are pregnant, we have the Abrysvo RSV vaccine, which is recommended between 32-36 weeks. If your pregnancy provider doesn't offer it, you can text us to arrange getting it at our clinic. You don't need to be a patient here (though if you're looking for pediatric care, we're happy to provide that as well). Text us at 206-203-2509.

Senate Bill 5411 would expand ND prescriptive authority, enable
NDs to sign all healthcare documents, and modernize
language to allow naturopathic physicians to serve more fully as
primary care providers, including being able to prescribe meds for ADHD.

COVID UPDATE 9/22/23: we were able to order Moderna 6m-11y! We don’t yet have any shipping timeline. We have opened scheduling, but please don’t schedule before 9/28/23. If we don’t receive the vaccines before then, we will reach out to cancel/reschedule appointments. We also ordered Moderna 12+ but don’t have shipping info yet. We have also ordered Novavax for adults which should ship as soon as the FDA approves it.

FLU UPDATE 9/22/23: we have more adult flu vaccine, in addition to flu shots and flu nasal for kids!

Kids flu shots are in stock, with more exciting seasonal offerings soon to come!
