A client (let's call him John) wants to move her elderly mom who has dementia into one of my adult family home. He can hardly wait!

John got the entire family on board and they all agree it's the right thing to do, necessary and now is the right time.

But John is very scared of "breaking the news" to his 92 years old frail mom who has no idea they are planning this move for her.

What advice would you have for John on how to talk to his mom?

I love seeing my residents enjoy themselve by creating something so relevant to them, such as baking pie, then eat it! By the way, we do this type of activity weekly.
