Happy Trans Day of Visibility to all our trans siblings! For PMA and The Co-op Funeral Home, our trans staff are a vital and public-facing part of the work we do. We deeply understand the need for those we serve to feel seen and safe. We have Designated Agent forms available on our website, so you can ensure those who know and love YOU oversee your deathcare. You can also put your wishes in writing directly on a Disposition Authorization form.

Whether it is providing dignified and respectful deathcare, or offering low-cost tissue retrieval services for gender-affirming surgeries, you will be cared for by folks who understand your needs. Find us and say hi at TransPride June 26th!

Big thank you to Horizon House and the ever inspirational Nancy Niedzielski for having us last week to discuss eco-friendlier deathcare! We love coming to visit.

We're looking forward to more education tomorrow at ACRS as we kick off another Ducks in a Row series in partnership with Seattle Public Library, bringing our program to the Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese) and Vietnamese speaking communities.

Our Terracon takeaway? Transparency! Throughout the two-day conference earlier this month, a theme emerged across panels and speeches, beyond natural organic reduction. Extolled over again was the honesty and integrity of host . We're as thrilled to have a partnership with the Auburn-based provider as the WA-State industry at large.

Shout out to our Gift Casket winner Elaine Main, a fellow funeral director extraordinaire! We auctioned this beautiful blue handmade piece (donated by former PMA alum Char Carpenter) full of tickets to local art experiences at last month's The After Party and it went to a good home -- still waiting for the photos of what you've done with it, Elaine! 😜
