Well deserved chef! Your creative approach to culinary excellence, will be to the benefit of all that will enjoy your new restaurant.

Last night I was invited to the board meeting at the Seattle Yacht Club and was completely surprised with the most meaningful gift: a framed chef’s coat from a community that has shaped so much of my life over the past eight years.

I am endlessly grateful for the friendships, mentorship, and memories built at SYC, and so excited to keep growing this next chapter with a restaurant of my own. Being able to extend that same sense of community to Mama Grande’s, with the support of Commodore Cramer and the entire Yacht Club family, means more than I can put into words.

You will always have a seat at our table.

Executive Chef Luke Kolpin honed his craft at Canlis in Seattle and Noma in Copenhagen, he now works his magic at Cedar + Elm inside the beautifully restored St. Edward Lodge in Kenmore.

We enjoyed every course of our fantastic dinner and loved our time here last evening.

SOHO has been on our radar since it opened, especially since there are so few Dim Sum spots on the south side of the border. The restaurant is spotless and welcoming, with a menu packed full of Dim Sum favorites, Thai specialties, and Asian-fusion creations.

Sai took wonderful care of us with warm, professional service that made the meal feel extra special. We enjoyed Shrimp Shu Mai, Peking Duck Buns, and the Crispy Garlic Chicken—each dish beautifully crafted with high-quality ingredients and impressive skill.

We can’t wait to explore more of the menu on our next visit.

The Score Sports Bar & Grill

We enjoyed a perfect preparation of Steak Frites at The Score today. Tender certified Angus sirloin steak cooked just right, was complemented with a rich Pinot Noir glaze and a Fresno Chile compound butter. It was served with fresh cut fries that were bursting with potato flavor. They are crispy outside and creamy inside.
The sautéed vegetables of tomato, onion, kale and zucchini were seasoned and carmelized.

Ferndale is fortunate to have a Sports bar with such quality food and a consistantly skilled kitchen staff.
