The term "Mommy Makeover" refers to a combination of procedures tailored to the specific needs of the patient, typically involving a restoration of the abdomen and breasts. For this patient, who had experienced significant weight loss and two pregnancies, we customized a surgical plan consisting of an abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) and a breast augmentation with a lift (mastopexy).

To address the loss of breast volume and shape, we selected 480cc Smooth Round Moderate Plus MemoryGel Boost implants. This specific implant choice allows for increased fullness and projection while the accompanying lift corrects skin laxity and ni**le position. Simultaneously, the tummy tuck removed excess skin and tightened the abdominal wall to restore a firmer contour.

Currently three months post-op, her recovery progress highlights the importance of precise incision placement and diligent aftercare. The abdominal scar is positioned low enough to remain hidden within the underwear line, and the breast lift incisions are already fading beautifully. This patient underwent an otoplasty to address prominent ear protrusion. The goal of this surgery is to reshape the underlying cartilage to allow the ears to sit closer to the head, creating a more balanced facial profile.

A common question regarding this procedure is scar visibility. The incision is made comfortably behind the ear in the retro-auricular crease. This allows us to access the cartilage for reshaping while ensuring the resulting scar is completely hidden from view once healed.

This patient is currently two weeks post-operative following a brachioplasty (arm lift). At this early stage of recovery, visible swelling is not only common but expected. The lymphatic channels in the arm are temporarily disrupted during surgery, which causes fluid retention in the tissues. Therefore, the size of the arms you see here is not the final result.

Despite the post-surgical edema, there is already a major improvement in the contour. The redundant, hanging skin that previously caused discomfort has been excised, revealing a much tighter underlying structure. As the swelling subsides over the coming weeks, the circumference of the arms will continue to decrease, and the definition of the musculature will become more apparent.

We are excited to see her final results emerge over the next several months. Brachioplasty recovery requires patience, but the structural change achieved by removing the excess skin is immediate and transformative.

This patient is shown 3 months post-operatively. To achieve this level of contouring, we didn't just remove the excess skin (pannus); we utilized liposuction to sculpt the surrounding areas.

The Surgical Plan:
Abdominoplasty: Removed the hanging abdominal skin (pannus) and tightened the underlying muscles to flatten the abdominal wall.

Liposuction of the Waist & Bra Roll: We treated the upper and mid-abdomen, waist, and bra line to taper the torso. This prevents the "boxy" look that can sometimes occur if only a tummy tuck is performed without addressing the surrounding fat deposits.

The Result: The pannus is completely gone, and the incision is placed low enough to be easily hidden within the underwear line.

We performed a septorhinoplasty for this patient to address both functional breathing issues and aesthetic concerns regarding a protruding bump on her nasal bridge. The goal of the procedure was to reduce the dorsal hump and refine the nasal contour without compromising the strength of the nose or the harmony of her facial proportions.

Although we advise patients that the final "settling" process continues for twelve months, the eight-month result shown here demonstrates a successful integration of the surgical changes. The dorsal hump is gone, and the nose now complements her other features rather than distracting from them.
