PUBLIC REGISTRATION IS LIVE šŸ | Dr. Gerd Heuschmann at Seven Hills

The wait is over! Registration for Dr. Gerd Heuschmann’s final scheduled U.S. clinic stop (June 2–4) is now officially open to the public.

Our priority list has been moving fast:

šŸ”“ RIDER SPOTS: June 3 (Day 2) is already SOLD OUT.
🟢 RIDER SPOTS: We have just 3 riding slots remaining for Day 1 (June 2) and Day 3 (June 4).
✨ AUDITOR UPDATE: To accommodate the incredible demand for this final tour stop, Gerd has agreed to increase our gallery to 30 seats per day.

Having studied with Gerd for over a decade, I’ve seen firsthand how his work serves as a vital bridge between classical dressage principles and the biomechanical realities of the horse. This 3-day masterclass is a deep dive into the 'horse-first' philosophy he has championed worldwide to ensure our horses' long-term soundness and well-being. This is a rare, final opportunity to study with a mentor who has dedicated his life to being a voice for the horse at Seven Hills in Monroe.

How to Secure Your Spot:
Click the link below to book your auditor pass or grab one of the last 3 riding sessions before they are gone.

Waitlist Info: Missed out on a June 3 riding spot? You can join the official waitlist by adding the $0 "Waitlist" item to your cart during registration. We will notify riders in the order received if a cancellation occurs.

We can’t wait to see you in June!

Since starting my deep dive into studying the equine body, I’m reminded every day that the horses are our best teacher. This past weekend I had the opportunity to experience this in a new dimension through a 3-day whole horse dissection guided by the amazing Trinity Equine Services and Northwest School of Animal Massage. Layer by layer, we examined this amazing system, all connected by a beautiful web of fascia. What an incredible opportunity to dive under the skin to see and touch the intricately woven tissues that I think about every day. I’m looking forward to considering different approaches, and implementing new and reinforced knowledge (good practitioners and biologists never stop learning!!) as I continue my practice and study of the equine body. I’ll keep the photos shared here relatively internet friendly, but please ask me questions if you want to hear or see more!

I love how much I get to learn on the job, including more about this ground-breaking procedure!

A new large bore equine CT scanner has revolutionised the surgery that a veterinary hospital in California can offer.

I will be participating in the January whole horse dissection at NWSAM with Trinity Equine Services. Really looking forward to this special continued education opportunity!! šŸ™Œ

Here is the winter schedule for dissections. There are a couple of locations that only have 1 or 2 spots left and then others are wide open. Maybe a great time for Northern friends to come south or west to do a dissection and get out of the cold. To get registered go to https://trinityequineservices.com/events

It’s easy as a practitioner/horse person to get caught up in finding that special method.
That one thing that works and cures all.
Is there some secret I’m missing?

The truth is, that different methods and approaches work for different people and horses.

This is why I don’t teach a ā€˜niche’ method or modality. I teach what works for me, but I am always open with my students about making adjustments for what works for them and their horses.

I’ve been doing this for quite a while and it can be disheartening seeing photos, videos, media, results and think that what you are doing isn’t good enough.

But the truth is- if you are helping the horse in any capacity, it is enough.
They may always need more work, need more time, need more changes to tack, lifestyle etc.
But there is no one method that you’re missing that is a cure all.

I really dislike this phrase but: ā€˜There is more than one way to skin a cat’. And this goes for your horse as well. There is more than one way to get results. Whether it’s rehab, training, strengthening etc.

There is no secret… there is no magic method..
There is just hard work and finding out what works for both of you.

So don’t be discouraged. You will find your way 🫶

+Youre allowed to do what’s best for you horse-even if others disagree

One of the biggest challenges for a majority of horse owners-is the opinion others have of the decisions they see fit for their horses.

Peer pressure is real and we all experience it to a certain extent BUT your horse depends on YOU to do what you discover is best for them.

Horses are individuals just like us and what works for your friends horse isn’t always going to work for yours.

I’ve been there and heard it all..
ā€œYou sure have a high maintenance horseā€
ā€œThat horse is tough, youre babying itā€
ā€œI’ve always done it this way-and haven’t ever had a problem..ā€

The little super computer we all carry in our pockets everyday gives us the opportunity to consume and research things for ourselves and as much as we love the way our peers care about our horses-we can also let them know when a different way is needed for our own.

To all the advocating horse owners that think outside the ā€œway it’s always been done boxā€-I see you.

Keep it up. Your horse will thank you in the end.
