🤎The Community Residential Services Association brought everyone together to honor the incredible accomplishments of outstanding individuals! We were fortunate to nominate one of our Program Supervisors for the 2025 Outstanding Direct Support Professional Award! 🩵

🌟When we learned about the nomination opportunity, the Admin and Program teams collaborated to determine the ideal candidate. After careful consideration, we chose Kumba Jallow as our nominee! 🌟

😍Kumba has been a valuable part of our agency for the past 7 years! She has consistently proven to be an outstanding asset, ensuring that our clients daily needs are met while effectively overseeing all operational areas. We are truly grateful to CRSA for this opportunity and for recognizing the dedication of our amazing employees who consistently provide excellent service to keep our agency thriving!🤩

🧩This fall, Delaney, Kendall's sister, graciously invited us to the Inclusive Tech Lab, where she works. Our wonderful clients and team had the opportunity to visit and discover the various projects being developed at the lab. 🧩

🧪The Inclusive Tech Lab is a Microsoft initiative focused on fostering inclusive modern life and education, as well as enhancing accessible productivity and gaming for individuals with disabilities. It serves as a space designed for people with disabilities, rather than about them, embodying Microsoft’s dedication to the disability community. 💻

💥Many agencies host Christmas parties, we choose to celebrate with a Holiday Party! This choice reflects our diverse workforce, as most of our employees do not celebrate Christmas. With a significant number of our staff from Gambia, our former ED made a conscious decision years ago to ensure that all employees feel included during the holiday season. 💥

🌲If you had attended our Holiday Party, you would have observed the remarkable turnout of employees who came together to volunteer and support our agency. You would have seen many staff members bringing traditional dishes for everyone to enjoy, as well as numerous employees who dedicated their time to ensure the event's success. 🌲

💙This is what sets our agency apart: the genuine support our employees have for the organization. We boast a sizable group of employees who have been with us for over 10+years, and it is their dedication that keeps our agency thriving despite all the changes.💙

💚You may have also noticed the new clients and their families who joined our program, which has expanded our community and contributed to our agency's growth! 💚

😍Additionally, I spent an entire month shopping for our clients Susan’s Stockings, which they receive during the Holiday Party. Each item is carefully selected to ensure that the client will truly appreciate and use it. Although it requires considerable time and planning, nothing compares to the joy on their faces when they receive gifts from Santa! Every moment is worthwhile! ☺️

💞I would also like to express my gratitude to Kathy Davis for dedicating weeks to work with our clients in her Art Class to create beautiful Christmas Tree centerpieces for our Holiday Party. Their creations added a lovely touch to our event! 💞

😇To our incredible clients, their families and friends, our dedicated employees, and each and every donor, you all made this holiday season truly unforgettable! THANK YOU!!! 🙏

🥳HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE 🤩

Our holiday season started in October, filled with numerous events over the past few months and why I haven’t been very active on social media. We have plenty of wonderful moments to share, from our recent Holiday Party to our Staff Appreciation event, along with the amazing support and contributions we’ve received! 😍

🌲Have you ever had the opportunity to visit The Lodge at St. Edward State Park? Each year, they showcase the🎄Giving Tree🎄 in their hallways as you enter the main entrance. We were fortunate enough to be included this year! 🤩
💐I collaborated closely with Kamela Daniels from Catalyst Fine Art to ensure that the tree setup aligned with our theme, and we created tags to place on the tree, which also displayed a flyer outlining our mission and vision, as well as ways to support our agency. 🏵️
🔸🔹 They not only supported us but various non-profits in the area. To top it off, Kevin Daniels, the owner of St. Edward, generously contributed to each of these organizations! 💚🩵❤️We are incredibly grateful to be part of the Giving Tree this year. If you haven't visited yet, it's definitely worth your time. They offer three different restaurants, accommodations, a stunning walking trail, and as an added bonus, they welcome dogs!🐾

🎃This past weekend, we had an incredible time at our annual Halloween Party! 🎃 A great deal of effort went into the preparations to ensure that all our clients had a memorable experience. 👻 We provided goodie bags, prizes for the top three costumes, a variety of drinks, tasty snacks, and pizza for everyone! They enjoyed feasting, dancing, and even some fantastic performances, including the thrilling announcement of our top three best costumes! 🍬

🎭This year, our top three winners were rewarded with treats, including Beanie Babies, trinkets, coloring activities, and gift cards! Here are some photos that beautifully capture the spirit of our wonderful event! 🍭

👩‍🎨Our clients meet bi-weekly at our new Shoreline Office with Kathie Davis, who has initiated an art class for all of our clients! 💥They have made significant strides in developing their artistic skills and exploring their interests. 💐We are immensely grateful to Kathie and our team members for providing both the space and the opportunity to assist our clients in creating their masterpieces. 👨‍🎨
