Banchero Disability Partners

Banchero Disability Partners Banchero Disability Partners empowers adults with developmental disabilities.

Banchero Disability Partners provides 24-hour support services and case management to 35 adults who have developmental disabilities. Our clients have a wide variety of needs: from those who require constant protective supervision, to others who need only financial or medical assistance. Many of the people we help experience a mental health or substance abuse diagnosis, and some have survived great hardships such as abuse or homelessness. Most of our clients live in single apartments among clusters of their friends, some share a home with one or more roommates. We provide support and education in areas such as: meal-planning, nutrition, cooking, shopping, budgeting, bill-paying, banking, cleaning, laundry, exercise, social skills, and using public transportation. We provide financial and case management to make sure our clients have desirable jobs, social security income, subsidized housing, utility and food assistance, excellent medical care, and mental health services when needed. We support and encourage our clients to enjoy activities such as: sports programs, attending classes and cultural events, and volunteering. We work with our clients so they understand and are part of the political process that affects their lives, help them to advocate for their civil rights, and be full participants in their communities.

🥫🚛 **Food Lifeline Food Drive – Let’s Fill the Trailer!** 🚛🥫

We’re excited to share that **Edward Jones (Region 174)** is sponsoring a neighborhood food drive, the *Food Lifeline Food Drive*, to help stock a local food pantry — and our non-profit, Banchero Disability Partners, is proud to support this effort as a community service project!

Our staff members are gathering and donating items to make an even bigger impact, especially since this incredible community has supported our mission to provide supported living services to 48 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Edward Jones (Region 174) hopes to fill an entire trailer with food donations to deliver directly to the food bank—and we are helping make that happen! Their collection trailer will be parked in the lot shared by Dick's Drive-In and WinCo Foods - 21910 Highway 99 in Edmonds.

Banchero Disability Partners joins the event as one of Shoreline’s amazing community leaders working to ensure local families have access to nutritious food. Every can, every box, and every donation makes a difference!

We support the dreams of those we serve. Last year, three young women went to Japan! Today, one young man who LOVES Star Wars is in California at Disneyland, picking out his own lightsaber, and next month, another young woman we serve is going to Ireland! Can you say "ADVENTURE"!? Our dedicated staff members accompany the clients to faraway destinations, according to their goals and dreams!
