“How do I even start talking to my parent about senior living?” If you’ve asked yourself that, you’re not alone. This is one of the hardest, and most important, conversations adult children walk through.

- It’s okay that this feels hard. Feeling nervous, sad, or guilty doesn’t mean you’re doing the wrong thing. It just means you care deeply.
- Pick a time to have coffee together. Avoid starting this conversation in the middle of a health scare or conflict.
- Start with your heart, not a “plan.” Keep the focus on care, not control.
Be curious about what they want. Ask open questions, then really listen.

We are thankful for the peace that comes when we find rest in Jesus and in His love for us. As we move through different seasons of life, questions will arise about the future, our families, our health, and even our purpose.
