Ways to acknowledge Indigenous people and communities on Native American Heritage Day 2025:

1. Acknowledge the land you’re on.
Learn which Tribal Nations have lived on and stewarded your area, and read their own histories and teachings.

2. Support Indigenous authors.
Read books by Indigenous writers whose work preserves culture, history, and lived experience.
