While many pregnancies end with healthy moms and babies, the U.S. remains one of the most dangerous developed nations for childbirth. Too many families still face preventable preterm births and the lifelong impacts that can follow.

Waiting for an autism evaluation can feel overwhelming and uncertain. 💜

This new video offers reassurance and simple, actionable steps families can take while they wait — from learning through trusted sources to exploring early support services and using everyday strategies at home.

One of those steps is reaching out to the Help Me Grow Washington Hotline, where friendly and knowledgeable Resource Navigators can connect families to local supports for their child’s developmental needs — along with food, healthcare, and other essential resources.

We’re so grateful to our partners at Grays Harbor County Public Health and the Pacific & Grays Harbor Counties SMART Team for their dedication to families, and to Stefani Joesten for creating this video as part of her capstone for the University of Washington LEND program.
