Understanding your body changes everything.

When you know what’s happening and why, you can move with more confidence, more intention, and less fear.

That’s a big part of what we do every day.

To understand who we are as a practice, it starts with understanding our people.

Everyone comes into physical therapy for a different reason, often shaped by personal experiences, injuries, or moments that change how they see movement and recovery.

For Abby, that path led her to Beacon Hill and the work she does with patients every day.

This is a small look into where it all started! 💙

At Renew, our team members are more than their titles.

Ally is the friendly face at the Beacon clinic — the one helping you schedule, answering questions, and keeping the day running smoothly.

She’s also a self-taught tattoo artist.

We love celebrating the creativity, passions, and talents that exist beyond the clinic walls. It’s part of what makes our spaces feel human.

Turns out precision, attention to detail, and steady hands show up in more than one profession.

Drop some love for Ally 👇

We’re kicking off our annual food + donation drive in support of the Rainier Valley Food Bank, and we’d love for you to be part of it.

All month long, we’re collecting:
🥫 Non-perishable food
🧴 Household essentials
💵 Monetary donations

Every item goes directly back into our community, helping neighbors access the support they need.

Swing by any Renew clinic to drop off donations, or reach out if you’d like to contribute in another way. We’ll also be matching monetary donations to help make an even bigger impact.

Let’s show up for our community in a big way this April. 💛

Not all pain is sharp.
Not all dysfunction feels obvious.

Sometimes it’s dizziness when you turn your head.
Sometimes it’s headaches after a car accident.
Sometimes it’s lingering back pain that never fully settles.

The Renton clinic specializes in orthopedic and vestibular rehabilitation — blending strength, movement retraining, and nervous system awareness.

If something feels “off,” don’t power through it.

Let’s assess it early.

Them: “don’t get too close to your patients”…
Us: "...oops!"💙

Turns out when you spend weeks cheering someone on, celebrating small wins, and watching them get back to what they love… it’s hard not to become a little invested.

Pain isn’t always one thing.

And recovery isn’t either.

We collaborate with Pain Science Physical Therapy to ensure patients get the right support at the right time.

That might mean strengthening.
It might mean nervous system retraining.
It might mean both.

You don’t have to figure it out alone.

POV: PTs testing their internal goniometer calibration

Step 1: Get assigned a degree.
Step 2: Try to find it on the goni…without looking at the numbers.
Step 3: Feel invincible (or rethink everything you know about angles)!

Some of us were surprisingly accurate.
Others may need to recalibrate. 😅

Clinical skills… but make it a game.

Breathing isn’t just about oxygen. It influences posture, core stability, pelvic floor function, and even pain perception. Small adjustments can create big changes in performance and recovery.

Throughout the month of April, Renew Physical Therapy will be collecting food and monetary donations to support our neighbors through the Rainier Valley Food Bank.

Every can, every dollar, and every share helps support families right here in our community.

Let’s fill those bins together. 💛

We understand the instinct to power through.

But pain is rarely solved by ignoring it.

Early physical therapy doesn’t mean you’re fragile.
It means you’re proactive.

Spring hiking season is coming.
Let’s build capacity before it builds frustration.
