This experiential introduction will focus on LGBTQ+ experiences of gender equity and reconciliation. Together, we’ll engage in exercises and reflection that foster healing, understanding, and authentic connection among people of all genders. All are welcome, whether this is your first experience with GERI, or you are a longtime friend!

This session explores the planetary alignments shaping 2026 and the energies they bring. Drawing on cosmic patterns and historical context, Somya Desai will help us understand what these forces offer us now—both individually and collectively—as we move through the year ahead.
Somya Desai has a background in Philosophy, Cosmology, and Consciousness from the California Institute of Integral Studies, having studied under Richard Tarnas and Becca Tarnas. With global roots in Singapore, India, Japan, and the United States, Somya brings a rich, holistic, and multivalent perspective to her practice and research.

Gender Equity and Reconciliation International (GERI) program fosters new dimensions of transformational healing and reconciliation between women and men. No society on earth is free of gender imbalance between the masculine and feminine. Both women and men are afflicted by gender injustice, and each needs the other for a true and complete healing.
GERI has been developed over the past 26 years by Satyana Institute and its precursors. More than 100 intensive training workshops have been conducted on six continents—bringing women and men together to jointly confront gender injustice. These gatherings have been held in the United States, Canada, South Africa, India, Colombia, Kenya, UK, Croatia, and Australia.
