I first became a licensed skin care specialist in 1999. After working part-time as an esthetician, I made the exciting decision to fully dedicate myself to the business. I opened Skin Care by Casey in 2009 on Alki, and later moved to the old spot on California Ave after earning my Master Esthetics license in 2004. While I have absolutely loved caring for all of you and building such close relationships, my passion has recently shifted to a new venture: selling designer and luxury clothing at 70-90% off retail in a live-auction format on the app Whatnot. Dear Friends and Valued Guests,

I wanted to share some important updates with you.

I started Skincare by Casey back in 2007 in a small room inside Envy at Alki Skin Boutique after relocating West from Florida. Fast forward seven wonderful years on California Avenue, I then found our current home — a quiet, unassuming sanctuary at the junction, complete with 32 private parking spaces. It’s truly been a beautiful journey, and I am so grateful for every step along the way!

Throughout it all, community, connection, and giving back have always been at the core of what we do — and that will never change, even as I pivot some of my time to focus on an exciting new business venture.

In addition to skincare, I have always loved fashion and have recently launched another business, reselling new apparel and shoes for men, women, and children from Nordstrom and Bloomingdale's. I’m able to sell these current, high-end pieces at a deep discount. It’s been a fun and fulfilling midlife pivot, and the business is growing rapidly! Kailey works Sundays, and Mackenzie will be available Fridays after a brief summer break. I will continue to work one to two days a month (Thursdays) to care for my regular clients and hope to increase my availability as time allows and I navigate these changes.

Professional products are active enough to cause cell regeneration and activate skin cells to change. Cosmetic products can feel nice and provide a sense of visual improvement, but they do not change the cell structure of your skin. [4] So, enjoy cosmetics, but spending tons of money on them is unnecessary. Please feel free to ask questions about products here or during your next visit.
