ā˜Here’s a little sneak preview: šŸ“†From October 31 to November 1, 2026, PROSEC succeeded to bring together four renowned North American prosthetic institutions.
The American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (AAED), the Colegio Mexicano de Prostodoncia de Nuevo León A.C. (COMEPRO), the Kois Center and PROSEC North America will collaborate to make dentistry also in the new year better. šŸ¤

Weekends away from family.
Time away from the office.
A firehose of information.
Early mornings. Late night workouts.
Endless coffee. ( )

And I’d do it all over again.

Graduating from the Kois Center is one of the most meaningful and career changing milestones of my dental career. This journey was intense and humbling—and it completely changed the way I practice, lead, and care for my patients.

Grateful for the mentors (, ) who raised the standard, the colleagues who became lifelong friends, and the that constantly challenges me to put patients first and practice dentistry at a different level.

To the dentists considering this path: do it. Your view of dentistry—and yourself—will change.

To my patients: thank you for trusting me with your smiles. This is for you.

To : thank you for holding it down while I chased excellence.

So many memories. So much growth.
And we’re just getting started.

.joeyarcay Finally and officially a Kois Graduate šŸ…

Since graduating 5½ years ago, I’ve completed over 1,000 CE hours covering everything from basic restorative and full-mouth rehab to implants, soft and hard tissue grafting, sinus grafting, digital dentistry, IV sedation, and just about everything in between.

I’ve dedicated a significant part of my life to learning and growing in dentistry. To be better for my patients, my colleagues, and the people around me. Long days, long nights, travel, and a constant drive to be better than the day before. Dentistry is layered, and learning never really stops if you want to stay current and do things the right way.

I’m looking forward to taking a little breather this year, focusing more on my practice, my team, and my personal life. It won’t be long before I’m back in the CE world.

Grateful for the opportunities I’ve had and everything I’ve been able to learn along the way.

Returning to the Kois Center this week felt different. To be honest, I hesitated for a long time before saying yes to becoming a mentor. I had three big fears: the language barrier, the feeling that I wasn’t ā€œgood enoughā€ yet, and the grueling long-haul flight and week away from home.

But I am so glad I stepped out of my comfort zone. This week wasn’t just a revision of what I knew; it was a total transformation. I found the missing links in my previous understanding and finally connected the dots.

I truly hope my mentees found value in our time together. I also feel incredibly lucky to have worked alongside two experienced Clinical Instructors who supported me and covered for me every step of the way. I’m leaving not just as a mentor, but as a student who has learned so much more.

A huge congratulations to Dr. Nick on becoming a graduate of the prestigious Kois Institute! šŸŽ‰

Why is this such a big deal? Much of dentistry is designed around fixing cavities or broken teeth. Most of the time, these problems are the RESULT of a disease, and fixing the teeth is NOT actually treating the disease itself. This leaves you susceptible until you get the next one, and then the next one, and so on.
Kois trained doctors are building a wellness system instead of staying a sickness system. We make evidence-based decisions to not only treat ailments, but slow new ones from arising.
What took me & SK years to complete, Dr. Nick did it in HALF the time- whatever goals you’re chasing, remember to do it tired, do it sad, do it scared, do it even when you’re unmotivated, because you CAN.

Kois trained dentists are passionate about what they do.

They look forward to Monday. They love the work week and they love to work with their patients. It’s a different kind of dentistry. Everyone here is passionate about what they do or they wouldn’t be here. all we are trying to do is make them better so they are not just a good dentist, they are a great dentist. Their patients are their friends, neighbors, and they see them in the grocery store and they want to be proud of what they’ve done.

The Kois Center is part of an educational network inspired by John Kois and populated by Kois trained dentists who have made a commitment to a rigorous education program. Many Graduates go on to become Mentors and Clinical Instructors returning to help the next generation of dentists go from good to great. the collaboration of these members has created an ever expanding knowledge base at the Center and is a pathway for extraordinary professional growth.
