Have you found that you are using your phone more and more?

Do you use your phone to answer emails and messages from work instead of sitting down at your computer?

You are not alone - so many people are doing this and as a result we see more people with ‘tech neck’ and it’s a real pain in the neck!

Tech neck occurs when you hold your head down to look at your phone for longer periods of time, which ends up stretching and straining the ligaments which hold your head up. This leads to muscle spasms, inflamed joints, headaches, and ultimately hunched over posture.

A quick tip to prevent this is to hold the phone up in front of you at eye level.

Finishing up another great week in the office! ✨ Here are some things that I heard this week:

🏃‍♀️ You are a lifesaver! I was all over the place trying to figure out what to do about my lower back. Clearly ignoring it and hoping it would go away wasn’t working … who knew it could be so simple. Thank you for listening to me. I’m back to running.

💤 I’m not waking up with neck pain. Every time I need to turn over and I don’t feel like I need to re-situate myself every couple of hours.

🧘🏻‍♀️ You keep me moving forward and I feel that I am in better touch with what’s going on in my body. I look forward to seeing you next month!
