We’re hiring! Northwest Kidney Centers is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Acute to join our Hospital Services team in a night shift position.

In this vital role, you’ll manage acute hemodialysis and related treatments at our partner hospitals while building strong relationships with patients, nurses, nephrologists, and physicians involved in their care.

Applicants must have a current Registered Nurse license in Washington state and a current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification.

Pay range: $42.00 – $60.00 – $78.00 per hour
Shift premiums: $2.50/hour evening shift premium and $4.00/hour weekend premium.

Join us this Sunday for the Kidney Disease Awareness Health Fair! We’re excited to partner with Greater Seattle -WA- Chapter of The Links, Incorporated for this community event on March 15 from 1–4 PM at New Beginnings Christian Fellowship in Kent, WA.

Enjoy free health screenings, physician-led sessions, fun exercises and line dancing, a healthy lunch, and a kid zone—there’s something for the whole family!

March is National Nutrition Month! Join us this month as we raise awareness about the important role nutrition plays in kidney health and how following a nutritious diet can help you feel good and live well with kidney disease.

At Northwest Kidney Centers, we’re proud to offer Medical Nutrition Therapy, a program that goes beyond nutrition education to help people with chronic kidney disease and diabetes take an active role in their health. With one-on-one support from a registered dietitian, patients receive a personalized, culturally appropriate meal plan and ongoing check-ins for guidance and health monitoring.

Over time, frequent use of common pain and anti-inflammatory medications like ibuprofen (Advil, Aleve, Motrin) can take a toll on your kidneys. Check with your doctor to be sure you are using these medicines safely, and always follow the recommended dosage and duration to help minimize the risk to your kidneys.

This , we’re proud to recognize the compassion and dedication of social workers like Northwest Kidney Centers' Maha Al Khateeb.

At Northwest Kidney Centers, social workers are vital members of our care team, helping patients navigate dialysis and maintain the best possible quality of life. They provide education about kidney transplantation, collaborate with doctors on patient care, and offer support as patients and families navigate the emotional challenges that can accompany kidney disease.

For Maha, the work is rooted in connection and compassion. She believes every person deserves to feel seen, heard, and valued, and she brings that perspective to each conversation with the patients and families she supports.

We’re grateful for Maha and for all the social workers who help strengthen our kidney community every day.

Former home dialysis patient Gabriele Ellis knows how much the right support can matter. While managing dialysis at home, she worked closely with her care team at Northwest Kidney Centers to successfully move through the transplant approval process. In October 2025, Gabriele received a kidney transplant and began the next chapter of her care!

Gabriele’s story shows what’s possible when nurses and clinic staff work together toward a shared goal. This National Kidney Month, we’re proud to celebrate patients like Gabriele and the teams who support them at home, in the clinic, and every step along the way. 💙
