I'm not always good with keeping up with posting things, but I had a good time this weekend. Got up extra early and drove to visit my friend Sifu Mike Garner at Grey Wolf Martial Arts in Winlock, WA to sit on the panel for his students belt testing promotion. It was good to sit amongst friends and colleagues and peers to watch the future martial artist do their thing. Afterwards, at the same location we held our training, you got some good work in. After dinner, shot up to Camas, Washington, and checked out the location of with . It's coming along and I'm very excited see how it shape shop when they start taking students!
Lot of busy weeks for me coming up so I try to see the people that are close to me when I can and spend time.

The last 4 days have been a rush of massage and martial arts, and while hectic I'll always be greatful. It felt good to be helpful and share and get some training in, regardless of how crabby I am about doing it lol thank you to and for having me!

It's been awhile since I got to play with my Tonfa, and my student graciously gifted me with a pair of polypropylene once I figured I would test them out alongside my wood ones. They're pretty fun! Good to know they're also nearly indestructible. Time for more work!

Massage rant warning:
For mobile massage clients: if you know the weather is bad and the terrain is dangerous why are you booking us on those days? Or if you're already booked and you know that the weather is crazy and unpredictable and dangerous why are you still expecting us to show up? Knowing darn well those very same inconveniences would immediately cause you to cancel if you were coming to a facility? Just curious.
