🌟 Staff Spotlight 🌟

Please join us in welcoming our new Dietary Manager, Sharrieff Austin, to the team at St. Anne’s!

Born and raised in Seattle, and the middle child of seven, Sharrieff has always had an appetite for cooking. As an early adolescent, he fumbled around in the kitchen perfecting scrambled eggs and Pop-Tarts. His curiosity with food continued years later as a hungry high school basketball player, where he became fascinated with the art of making lasagna.

One day after school, while flipping through TV channels, he came across a PBS series episode of Great Chefs of Chicago and was blown away. Watching these chefs execute their craft with such timing and precision felt aligned with his hoop dreams, and he thought, “there could be a lane here for me as well.” From there, his interest peaked and his culinary journey began.

Now a seasoned chef with over 20 years of experience in restaurants, hotels, and assisted living, Sharrieff brings both passion and expertise to our community. He is excited to be here, dishing out joy and nutrition to those who need it most.

We had an amazing time celebrating International Women’s Day with a fun and vibrant Barbie-themed party 💖

Our residents and staff came together to honor the strength, individuality, and accomplishments of women across generations. From bright pink roses to laughter-filled moments, the day was full of joy, connection, and celebration.

It was a beautiful reminder that every woman’s story matters and deserves to be celebrated.

We had a wonderful time celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with our residents and team ☘️

Our community was filled with music, laughter, and a special performance by a talented dancer who brought so much energy and joy to the day. Residents enjoyed the festive atmosphere, great company, and a celebration full of smiles.
