🎨 Painting & Connection at Cascades at Saint Anne!
Our residents enjoyed a relaxing panting activity full of creativity, laughter, and color! Each canvas told its own story — some bright, some serene, all filled with heart. Thank you to our wonderful Activity Director for making this art class so special! 💙

🌟 Staff Spotlight: Brie – HR & Marketing Director 🌟

With a background in social work and insurance and a degree in Sociology, Brie brings a people-centered approach to every aspect of HR and marketing. Their focus on communication, care, and connection helps support both staff and residents, making Cascades at Saint Anne a welcoming and compassionate community.

🌿 Therapy Services at Cascades at Saint Anne 🌿

Did you know our residents have access to three types of therapy, all right here in our building?

🟢 Physical Therapy (PT)
Helps residents regain strength, balance, and mobility after illness, injury, or surgery. PT can include walking practice, exercises, and pain management to get residents moving safely and confidently.

🟡 Occupational Therapy (OT)
Focuses on everyday activities — like dressing, bathing, cooking, or even using adaptive equipment. OT helps residents stay as independent as possible, so they can enjoy the routines that matter most.

🔵 Speech Therapy (SLP)
Supports communication, memory, and safe swallowing. Our speech-language pathologists work with residents to improve speech, treat swallowing disorders, and even assist with cognitive skills like problem-solving.

At Cascades at Saint Anne, we’re proud to offer a full therapy team dedicated to helping residents live their lives to the fullest — whether they are here for short-term rehab or long-term care.

🌟 Staff Spotlight: Desiree Castiglia - Director of Rehabilitation 🌟
Desiree brings 7 years of experience as a Director of Rehabilitation, with the majority of that time spent serving in skilled nursing facilities. Her areas of expertise include Cardiac Rehab, Dementia Care, Orthopedics, joint replacement, fractures, and more.
From a young age, Desiree has been passionate about medicine—she fondly remembers reading medical books as a child. Alongside her clinical knowledge, her background in customer service has helped her connect with patients and families with compassion and understanding, ensuring that everyone feels supported throughout their rehabilitation journey.
Her ultimate goal is to provide the highest quality care while promoting the greatest level of independence for each patient she serves.

With more than 40 years in the culinary arts, Terrance brings unmatched knowledge, creativity, and dedication to our skilled nursing facility. His passion for food goes far beyond the kitchen; he takes pride in preparing meals that not only nourish our residents but also bring them comfort, joy, and a taste of home.

Every dish is crafted with care, reflecting his belief that food is an essential part of healing and well-being. We’re grateful to have his expertise and heart guiding our dining services each and every day!

🌟 Staff Spotlight: Josh Geary, Assistant Director of Nursing 🌟

Meet Josh Geary, our incredible Assistant Director of Nursing here at Saint Anne Nursing & Rehab! 👨‍⚕️

Josh is a U.S. Army-trained nurse with over 19 years of experience across a wide range of specialties, including general surgery, orthopedics, critical care, and trauma. He also holds advanced certifications in wound care and infection prevention.

With a strong commitment to resident-centered care, Josh brings both skill and heart to everything he does. We’re so grateful to have his leadership and expertise on our team!
