For thousands of years, human beings by the millions have turned to the practice of chanting as a way to soothe, balance, heal, and cultivate harmony within themselves and with each other. For all of the seismic shifts that have transformed human culture from before the creation of written language to the present day, chanting mantras has been a constant and reliable tool and catalyst guiding and supporting this transformation in personal discovery and planetary growth.

As the pace of modern life continues to accelerate, and things like truth can no longer be taken at face value, we need to develop a core of well-being in order to keep up and discern what is really going on around us.

Chanting is like a sonic balm to the current speed of life. It is a way of attuning our individual self to the universal energy of life, very much as a violinist tunes their instrument to be in frequency with the entire orchestra.

From this perspective we can view our life’s difficulties and challenges as a sort of musical dissonance (like being out of pitch- a little or a lot), and by making sound, by chanting, we have the ability to tune ourselves to be more in harmony with what is going on around us and therefore create the opportunity to better deal with life as it happens.

Over the next six weeks we are going to introduce and explore a single mantra per practice. No previous chanting experience is needed. By the end of the series you will have a medicine kit of sonic tools to help help navigate this chaotic and confusing time we occupy in history.

To reserve a spot in SONIC BALM, message me. We begin next week.✌️
