What is Sol up to? Happy to announce I’m starting a deep dive into integrative trauma training at the Aura Institute using the below approach. I’m excited to work with highly trained teachers such as Angela Lumba-Brown, MD, an academic physician-scientist with a focus on the interplay of the brain-body-spirit. Her research in the field of neuroscience explores brain injury and its relationship to thought processing, sensory perception, and mental health. Dr. Lumba-Brown cares for patients in the emergency department, where she strongly believes that healing is a whole-person approach. She has received extensive formal training with the Stanford Center for Compassion and Altruism, several yoga and meditation centers, and recently embarked on a two-year immersion into mindfulness meditation with the Awareness Training Institute and Greater Good Science Center at the University of California, Berkley. As a certified yoga instructor and meditation teacher, Dr. Lumba-Brown interconnects science and the soul.
And also Gregory Burdulis who quotes the following…”I believe Life hurts and pain happens. I believe that healing engages Love.”
Gregory has a B.S. in counseling, education and dance along with a M.A. in spirituality. He’s trained in meditation for 7 years as a monk in Burma. He is a certified yoga and meditation instructor, mindfulness teacher and professional coach. Gregory has extended training in The Artist’s Way, storytelling, mountaineering, body awareness, TaeKwonDo, improvisational theater, contact improvisation, and interpersonal communication.
I’m excited to absorb like a sponge and see how it transforms Sol bodywork. I aim to hold sacred space for anything that wants to move and shift or take deeper root. All the while standing beside you as you do the courageous work of feeling and sensing your own essence. Thank you for working with me!
