But I have mixed feelings about how she did itโฆ
For the past few weeks our white male cat Blanco has been biting the back of our multicolored Roxyโs head, and Iโve been seeing her helplessly sit there and screech in pain. I tried separating the 2 or throwing a sock at Blanco, but it didnโt deter the behavior.
Then I learned that ๐ช๐ง ๐ด๐ฉ๐ฆโ๐ด ๐ณ๐ฆ๐ข๐ค๐ต๐ช๐ฏ๐จ ๐ช๐ฏ ๐ง๐ฆ๐ข๐ณ ๐ต๐ฉ๐ข๐ต ๐ด๐ฉ๐ฆโ๐ด ๐จ๐ช๐ท๐ช๐ฏ๐จ ๐ฐ๐ง๐ง ๐ข ๐ด๐ช๐จ๐ฏ๐ข๐ญ ๐ต๐ฉ๐ข๐ต ๐ฑ๐ฆ๐ณ๐ฑ๐ฆ๐ต๐ถ๐ข๐ต๐ฆ๐ด ๐ต๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐ฃ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ข๐ท๐ช๐ฐ๐ณ!
Ah hah! That was it!
I asked the owners for permission to release her fear, and after getting a yes, I worked on releasing the emotions and beliefs that were getting in the way of her defending herself. It helpedโฆ the next night he attacked her 3x and she fought back every time!
But I was sensing that there was more to do, after all, the attacks didn't appear to be stopping yet...
So I installed some empowering beliefs in Roxy and hours laterโฆ
He attacked again! I heard some screeching, looked over and it was already over! He was lying next to her with his eyes closed as ๐๐๐ ๐ฐ๐๐ฌ ๐ ๐ซ๐จ๐จ๐ฆ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐๐! Say wha?
Then after about a minute of that, ๐๐ ๐ฐ๐๐ฌ ๐ ๐ซ๐จ๐จ๐ฆ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐๐!
Part of me thinks she found an incredible way to diffuse the situation. But another part of me wonders if this is akin to people nominating an undeserving powerful person for nobel peace prize to win favor.
