Opioid overdoses can happen anywhere, to anyone and often when we least expect it. That’s why we’re continuing our commitment to keeping our community safe by providing free Narcan (Naloxone).

Narcan is a simple nasal spray that can reverse the effects of an opioid overdose within minutes. You do not need medical training to use it, and it will not cause harm if opioids are not present. Carrying Narcan is about being prepared to save a life whether it’s a neighbor, a loved one, or even a stranger.

If you’re in the Seattle area, stop by during our pickup window and keep this lifesaving tool in your home, car, purse, or church safety kit. No complicated process. Just community care in action.

If you or someone you know could benefit, come through. Knowledge is power. Preparedness is Love.

02/17/2026

We still have FREE Narcan (Naloxone) available for pick up on February 24th from 11AM–1PM. If you haven’t registered yet, there’s still time.

Narcan is a nasal spray that can reverse an opioid overdose in minutes. It works by blocking the effects of opioids and helping restore breathing. Simply spray it into one nostril if someone is unresponsive, not breathing normally, or has blue/gray lips or fingertips. It will not harm someone if opioids are not present, so when in doubt, use it and call 911 immediately.

You do not have to use opioids to carry Narcan. If someone you love, work with, or pass on the street needs help, having it on hand could save a life.

Click the link in our bio or comment “Narcan” and I’ll send you the registration link.

This is community. This is legacy. This is AARTH. 🖤

Our Fundraiser Brunch was more than a gathering. It was a powerful reminder of why this work matters. From the delicious food shared around the table to the deeply moving words from our speakers and honorees, every moment reinforced the importance of action, unity, and commitment to health equity within our African American community.

The messages were heartfelt. The conversations were honest. And the call to action was clear. Our fight is not over. It continues stronger than ever, fueled by purpose and community.

To our sponsors, attendees, and honorees, we see you. We appreciate you. We thank you for believing in this mission.

Because of your support, AARTH will continue to serve, advocate, and uplift the Seattle community for 23 more years and beyond.

HIV still impacts Black communities at disproportionate rates, and in a season filled with division and hate, choosing love is an act of resistance.

Now more than ever, we must come together, break the stigma, and lead with compassion. Support our brothers and sisters living with HIV by listening, educating ourselves, and showing up without judgment.

HIV does not define a person. Love, community, and understanding save lives.
