Koleto Wellness Group

Koleto Wellness Group Trauma-sensitive and body positive massage. Therapeutic and relaxing work for pain relief and stress relief. My intuitive, committed touch heals and comforts.

I''m Katrina Koleto, Licensed Massage Practitioner, and it's my deepest Joy to be a facilitator of health and wellness. A lifetime of kinesthetic interest has led me to many pursuits, including a dance minor in college, a year as a group fitness instructor, and several years as a Physical Therapy aide. But no path has ever been made my spirit soar as much as massage therapy. In massage, my interest in movement & structure combines with my desire to help my community reach for higher levels of wellness. When I give massage, not only do I see my client’s mood transform each time they are on the table, but also I see their bodies transform over time as we work together on chronic issues. The smiling faces and repeat bookings just reinforce what I already know-- when I do this work, I am living inside my Dharma. In addition to massage, movement therapy has been a longtime passion of mine. I have a background in dance choreography, fitness instruction, and PT assisting; those experiences blend with my education in a variety of movement practices, from Tai Chi to Zumba to Yoga, to support my current movement classes and workshops. More than just a teacher, I am a gentle guide, helping my clients and students reconnect with their bodies in profound ways that lead to better health, greater satisfaction, and deeper self-expression. I offer treatment-focused and relaxation massages, tailoring my work to suit the needs of each individual. Types of massage/healing I offer:

Recommendations for Armpit Odor and Athlete's Foot!

Armpit odor and athlete's foot are the top two issues I hear about from my clients, aside from their aches and pains. I'm not a doctor, so these issues are a little outside the scope of my practice. That said, I have definitely found things that work for me (and for other people I've known), so I do...

This morning I wept for the toucans, and then for all of us. I found two toucans in the road, one was trying to move the other. I picked up the lifeless beautiful bird and moved it to the side of the road in the grass. I looked up and the trees were filled with Toucans. They saw me and cried with me, it was beautiful and so sad.

As I drove away, I couldn't help but feel overwhelmed. I don't recognize us anymore. I used to believe that people were compassionate and kind. I used to think that everyone understood the value of life. Now we don't cry for another, we cheer on each other's suffering.

How do we find our way back to humanity?

Our Story

I'm Katrina Koleto, Licensed Massage Therapist, and it's my deepest Joy to be a facilitator of health and wellness. A lifetime of kinesthetic interest has led me to many body-focused pursuits throughout the years, including a dance minor in college, a year as a group fitness instructor, and several years as a Physical Therapy aide.

Eventually, I was working as a caregiver for a man who was partially paralyzed by a spinal cord injury. His Physical & Occupational Therapists and Massage Therapists taught me several bodywork techniques that I used with this client daily, to improve his function. Eventually, it dawned on me that doing this bodywork with my client was my favorite part of the day, and that with a little training, I could make bodywork my primary occupation.
