More than 200 children in the SeaTac community left the Matt Griffin Y a little warmer, a little more confident, and a whole lot more supported.
Seattle Seahawks safety Julian Love spent the afternoon meeting families, hearing kids’ stories, and helping them receive their new winter coats, shoes, and haircuts. His kindness and presence meant the world to the young people we serve.
A heartfelt thank you to Julian Love and to our partners at UnitedHealthcare Community Plan of Washington for making this day possible and for investing in the health and well-being of local families. And it was also a success because of the generosity of The Covenant Clippers generously donating their time and skills, and Sea Hawkers joining our staff in distributing winter items.
Together, we’re building a stronger, healthier community—one child at a time.
