Along bicycling, walking is a favorite pass time on the island of Terschelling in The Netherlands. But why here, which makes it different than other places. What makes each footstep so magical on this Dutch Wadden eiland?!
As so many things in life, it is energy driven. Hikes tend to be more meaningful here, also slower and more mindful, creating space for reflection and processing emotions, eventually leaning towards a more peaceful mind and a deeper connection with Mother Nature.
If this mindful reset calls your name and tickles your curiosity, we are once again hosting a retreat on Terschelling, September 14th-20th with .

Excellent article for insights how the Dutch utilize "Dusking" to slow down. Are you ready to give your central nervous system and mind a much needed break?!!

| Did You Know?yoga will be hosting retreats in both Patagonia and Bhutan, traveling to two of our favorite retreat destinations 🫰
Anna is a yoga and sound healing teacher rooted in the transformative power of movement, breath, and vibration. Based in Mallorca, she blends over 1,000 hours of training across multiple disciplines—including Vinyasa, Yin, Kundalini, sound therapy, sacred space facilitation, and meditation coaching.
Her offerings reflect a deep commitment to both the science and spirit of embodied practice.
Anna is particularly passionate about the intersection of yoga and neuroscience. As a Yin Yoga teacher trainer for several years, she has led courses internationally that explore the relationship between neuroplasticity, the brain, and the meditative qualities of Yin-style practice. Her teaching is enriched by a grounding in Naad Yoga and breathwork, often incorporating subtle sound healing through instruments like singing bowls and chimes to create an immersive sensory experience.
Before fully dedicating herself to teaching, Anna spent nearly a decade as an international guide for Backroads—a world-renowned active travel company—leading cycling, hiking, and yoga adventures across Argentina, Bali, Costa Rica, Spain, France, Italy, Hawaii, and England. Her love of travel and connection also led her to solo backpacking and bikepacking adventures through Nepal, India, and South America, deepening her relationship to traditional spiritual practices and remote landscapes.
Anna’s retreats are an invitation to slow down, reconnect, and expand. She creates spaces that are both grounded and elevated—where movement, breath, sound, and stillness weave together in meaningful ways. Her work is influenced by nature, travel, ritual, and the history of a place, and she’s most at home guiding others through experiences that awaken vitality, inner listening, and a sense of the sacred.

“And now here is my secret, a very simple secret; it is only with the heart that one can see rightly, what is essential is invisible to the eye.” – Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
Drishti Journeys has modernized the traditional yoga retreat by adding wellness and adventure components to their inspiring journeys.
Designed to deepen your yoga practice, experience cultural immersion and indulge in local cuisines, our mindful journeys allow us to hit the pause button and apply self-care and realization for the active yogi and explorer.
Every retreat destination has been personally visited, and the custom created itineraries allow for both individual time and group activities. In addition, we take great pride to connect and being involved in local communities, ranging from clean up efforts to donations and orphanages.
We believe that the essence of retreats can be conveyed by a word, yet like many other things, it might have to be experienced to be truly appreciated. Traveling and yoga combined in a way is a definition of the intrinsic wholeness of the world - and an instrument that keeps reminding us that one can change at a deep cellular level, even long after the experience.
We are truly honored to be able to offer you a variety of mind-expanding experiences from all corners of the world and look forward to having you join us.
