A sock hop and a sundae bar are a pretty great combination! Burgers, onion rings, and music by 4Ever Changed set the tone for the event. More photos may still be on the way, but this was already a good look at a night with plenty of retro flair! 🍔🎶

Karen Donovan brought a great mix of music last week! Her vocals and guitar performance gave each song a personal touch, and residents joined right in with maracas, tambourines, and a hand drum.

A little friendly competition made it even better, with prizes for correctly guessing the song or band. Such a fun performance for everyone involved! 🎶🥁

A puzzle table has a way of pulling people in, and for good reason. It gives our brains something to work on, keeps the hands busy, and has a calming rhythm to it, once the pieces start coming together.

Puzzles can support memory, problem-solving, focus, and coordination, but Pelican Landing residents don't need a research paper to know that! Sometimes, it's enough to sit down and enjoy the satisfaction of seeing the picture slowly take shape. 🧩

Sunshine and waterfront views made our recent lunch outing so nice! The residents had a fantastic time visiting Mulligan's Beach House down in Sebastian. Eating delicious food by the water while enjoying such wonderful company is exactly how we love spending our afternoons. ⛵

There is always a little extra fun when the game is new, and nobody is fully sure who is winning yet. Our residents gave a new card game a try in a new spot too. They had a good time figuring it out together! 🃏♣️

Pat and Kay are the kind of women who make a place feel fuller just by being in it. They have stories to tell, history to share, and a way of drawing people in that makes time around them easy to enjoy.

With the colder weather finally behind us, Pelican Landing's residents took advantage of the sunshine and headed out to freshen up the garden beds. Fresh herbs and flowers are now in the ground, and everyone is looking forward to seeing how they come along. Stay tuned! 🌿🌸

Mae’s birthday celebration started with a trip to the zoo, and it could not have suited her better. She wanted to be outside, see the animals, and enjoy the day, and she got to do all of that, right down to feeding the giraffes! The picnic and scenic river ride home made it even more special. 🎂🦒
