Our latest "Winter Wonderland" Artful Impressions sesh was officially dubbed a "gathering" rather than a class. Why? Because Gladys and the ladies decided that a class implies learning, and they are far beyond that stage!

The afternoon's highlight was definitely storytelling as Gladys recounted the massive snowstorms of Michigan. We also reminisced about the magic of childhood snow days, though the whole group agreed they are very happy to avoid driving in icy conditions these days! 🎨❄️

We had a happy crew this week at Pelican Landing when Mark took us on an impromptu scenic drive! We traveled through Sebastian and up US1 towards Brevard County while singing and laughing the whole way.

The scenery was beautiful, and we spotted pelicans, egrets, bird nests, boats, and even a vulture drying its wings. Another highlight? Seeing such friendly people waving at our bus as we passed by! 🚌🌊

Our residents had a great time making "waterless snow globes" at Pelican Landing! Jane, our Resident Wellness Director, along with some of our RCS team, led the activity to fit perfectly with our "Winter Wonderland" theme for the month.

Our Memory Care Winter Wonderland Brunch was a big success! Chef Manny and Mike really outdid themselves, serving up a delicious spread of food including prime rib, praline Belgium waffles, and plenty of mouth-watering sides and desserts.
