It's almost time for our October Support Group! Come join me next Tuesday, October 28 at 6pm at Orlando Health Sebastian River Hospital on the 3rd floor. This month we will be discussing the topic of Navigating the Holidays After Bariatric Surgery.

As a bariatric patient, I can attest that this is the most difficult time of year, at least for me. I'm here to provide you with some tips and tricks that will both enable you to enjoy the holidays without feeling like you can't partake of the delicious flavors of the season.

Big thank you to our support group attendees last night. We had a great discussion about recognizing and preventing transfer addiction after bariatric surgery. This is an ever increasing phenomenon that occurs after bariatric surgery.

Hope to see you next month on Tuesday, October 28. We will be discussing tips and strategies on how to navigate the holidays as someone with bariatric surgery.

Do you struggle with weight gain after Bariatric surgery, or are you worried you might in the future? This is an extremely common concern for those of us in the Bariatric club.
