As fresh rains fall, new waves of ticks hatch and go in search of a meal. Ticks like the deer tick pictured can carry lymes disease which can cause severe life long health issues. Thankfully, there are herbal and treatment protocols which yield fantastic results in getting relief. Get an acupuncture treatment and we will give a free treatment to a victim of the fires. For every new client that comes to see Ryan at his practice in Sebastopol he will donate a free treatment to folks who have been impacted by the fires.

It has been a month since the fires in Sonoma County started but folks are still needing relief. To help people with health challenges and the emotional stress of the fires we will continue this offering as long as it is needed. Ryan is excellent at working with all ages, from infants to the elderly - he will help anyone feel empowered toward whatever their health goals are.
Anxiety, stress, overwhelm and grief can all be helped immensely from acupuncture.

The extreme fire conditions that the residents of Sonoma County are currently are remarkably taxing to the lungs and nervous system. If possible, the best thing you can do for yourself and family is to limit exposure to the air by staying inside with a good air filter. Here are some photos of what is happening quietly behind the scenes at the grassroots level to help our firefighters and evacuees at shelters. (Photo credit: Misha Miller)

This was happening last night at one of the many staging sites for firefighters shift changes. They come in at around 4pm to eat rest and then go back at it at 4am. Herbalist and body workers of all sorts are showing up with their massage tables and working long shifts to give relief to the 5000 fire fighters who have been and continue to work tirelessly for us.

Rain is on it's way to Sonoma County and with it comes damp cold. Remember to bundle up and specifically to cover your feet, neck and head to help maintain a nice core temperature.
