Did you know that the position of your teeth can affect the way you speak?

Things like:
🗣️ Lisps or whistling sounds
🗣️ Slurred or mumbled speech
🗣️ Difficulty pronouncing certain sounds

When teeth are misaligned, the tongue doesn’t always have the space it needs to move freely. That can make sounds like “s,” “t,” or “ch” harder to pronounce and can even affect the rhythm and clarity of speech.

Speech is a huge part of how we communicate, connect, and feel confident in everyday life.

The good news? In many cases, orthodontic treatment can help improve speech issues caused by alignment concerns.

Let’s talk about something very common…
retainers that don’t fit anymore.

If life got busy (it happens!), and your retainer hasn’t been worn like it should, your teeth may start to shift. This is called orthodontic relapse...when teeth slowly move out of their ideal position over time.

Here’s the good news 👉 this does NOT mean you’ve failed or that all is lost.

If your retainer doesn’t fit:
🚫 Don’t panic
🚫 Don’t force it
🚫 Don’t let shame keep you from calling me

Instead…
✅ Pause. Breathe. It's ok.
