Happy April Fool’s Day! Dr. G here.

Throwing it back to one of the G-Team’s finer moments…

When they told me they caught a “mouse” under the trash can, I thought I was about to step in and save the day.

Turns out… not that kind of mouse 😅

I’d like to say I’ve learned my lesson, but with this group, probably not 🤣

Hey friends, Dr. G here! It's time for another 😎

One thing I never take lightly is how people feel when they walk through the door of my office.

For a lot of kids, getting braces can feel like a big step. Nerves are normal. Questions are normal.

My goal is simple: Help them feel comfortable, understood, and taken care of from the very beginning.

And for parents, I know it is not just about the smile, it's also really about the experience, feeling at ease, and making the plans work for your family.

When those two things come together, that is when I know I'm doing it right.

I am so grateful for families, like the Shoemaker's, who trust us with their kid's smiles and also take the time to let me know that we're doing the right things and making a positive difference!

Thank you, Katharina, for this amazing testimonial! We absolutely love your family and are so glad you're here!

Happy Monday, friends!! Dr. G here.

Now this might not be exactly WHY people are actually banging down the door to get in 😄 , but I will say this...

There is a reason our patients send their friends and family our way.

It is not just about straight teeth.
It is how people feel when they are here.

We hear it all the time.

“You made this easy.”
“My kid actually enjoys coming.”
“I felt taken care of the whole time.”
"The office is so fun!"

That is what matters to me.

If you have been thinking about getting started, we would love to meet you.

(Doors are open, I promise 😂)

Happy Friday, friends! Dr. G here.

I’ve said it before… not everything’s a two person job.

But somehow, the G-Team still finds a way to make it one 😂

We take what we do seriously…
But definitely not ourselves all of the time. 😅

If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like behind the scenes, this is pretty much it. I LOVE the G Team and the culture we have.

💙🧡

Hey friends, Dr. G here.

We’ve talked about my role and the kids’ role, now it’s the parents’ (and/or patients if you’re an adult) turn.

Parents, here’s your part:
1. Get them to their appointments
2. Make sure they’re seeing their dentist as recommended
3. Keep up with the payments

That’s it.

When all three of us are working together, treatment stays on track and everything goes smoother for everyone.

I know life gets busy, and I don’t take it lightly that you trust us with your kids.

We’re here to make the process as easy as possible for your whole family.

Drop a comment below and let me know if this little mini series, made you feel more confident in the orthodontic journey!

Happy Wednesday, friends! Dr. G here.

Alright kids (or adults 😄) this one’s for you.

We talked about my responsibilities yesterday. Now let’s talk about yours.

Your job is actually pretty simple:
1. Brush your teeth
2. Don’t break the braces
3. Wear your rubber bands and retainers

That’s it.

If you do those three things, everything moves faster and your results turn out better.

I always tell my patients, we all have to work together to create your best smile 😁

Y’all showed out with the comments yesterday and that was a huge help!

Would you mind to drop a comment or share today too, so the social media powers believe they should make sure all my community gets to see this?!

I appreciate it more than you will ever know 🙌😎

Happy Tuesday, friends! Dr. G here.

Last week I mentioned that when your kid (or you) starts orthodontic treatment, we keep things simple.

Everyone has 3 responsibilities.

Let’s start with mine.

My job is to:
1. Run on time
2. Treat every patient like they’re family
3. Do the best possible job for each smile that walks through our doors

That’s the standard I hold myself to every day.

Because at the end of all this, it’s not just about straight teeth. It’s about how you feel when you smile.

Tomorrow we’ll talk about the kids’ (or yours, if you’re the patient) role in all of this.

Would you do me a favor and leave a comment, even just an emoji in the comments below 👇 That one simple thing, actually really helps me get this information out to all my friends in this community here on social media! Thank you in advance!

Happy Monday, friends! Dr. G here. 😊

Do you know why I recommend bringing your elementary-aged kiddos in to see me?

By age 7, I can start to see how your child’s teeth, jaw, and airway are developing and catch things early while they’re still growing.

And here’s the part most parents are surprised by, most kids don’t need treatment right away.

A lot of times, the best plan is simply watching and timing things correctly. But having that information early gives you clarity and peace of mind.

If your child is in elementary school and you’ve ever wondered when to bring them in, this is your sign 😄

These visits are complimentary, easy, and just a conversation.

Hey friends, Dr. G here.

Something about spring just feels like a fresh start.

Longer days. More sunshine.
And maybe, finally doing that thing you’ve been putting off.

If your smile has been on your mind, you’re not behind and you’re not too late.

Just something to think about this season 😎

Happy first day of spring from me and the G Team! 🌼

Hey friends, Dr. G here.

A lot of people think starting kids/teens in their orthodontic treatment after the first consultation, will be overwhelming, but it’s actually pretty simple!

When you come in, I walk you through my 3 responsibilities, 3 responsibilities for you (mom or dad) and 3 for the kiddo, and then it’s braces time!

That’s it.

I make sure to lay out clear expectations, so there’s no confusion.

Because when everyone knows their role, everything goes smoother and results come faster. Knowledge is power!

I’ll break down the responsibilities for you next week, but for now… just know this:

It’s a lot more doable than you think and the G Team and I are there for you every step of the way!

Drop a comment with a 🙌 if you’re excited to know that it is really that simple!

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! 🍀

Dr. G here.

I’ve got to say… the G-Team understood the assignment today 🙌

A little green, a lot of spirit, and the same care we bring to every smile that walks through our doors.

We might not be able to promise you a pot of gold…BUT we can help you feel lucky every time you smile, no luck of the Irish needed 😄

Happy Monday, friends! Dr. G here.

Today I’m answering this great question one of YOU asked me 😄

“My child’s teeth look straight… do we still need to come in?”

Even when teeth look straight on the outside, there may not actually be enough room for the adult teeth that are still coming in. When that happens, crowding can show up later.

That’s why the AAO recommends a first orthodontic check around age 7. It’s quick, easy, and sometimes all we do is keep an eye on things as they grow.

The only way to really know what’s going on is to take a look, and the good news is your consultation is complimentary 😎

Drop a 🤚 in the comments if you’ve ever wondered about this!
