Hudson Regional Health is proud to announce a new academic affiliation with New York Medical College (NYMC), designating HRH as a teaching site for the training and education of NYMC’s medical students. NYMC will also assume sponsorship of HRH’s current residency and fellowship programs.

This partnership with NYMC will support HRH’s goal to become one of the largest sponsors of graduate medical education, not just in Hudson County but throughout the State of New Jersey.

The agreement will establish various clerkships, sub-internships, and electives at the four hospitals for NYMC medical students in the near future. In addition, NYMC will assume sponsorship of HRH’s residency programs in family medicine, internal medicine, and surgery, a transitional year residency program, and a fellowship program in gastroenterology.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear friend and colleague, John Grywalski. John was a decorated war veteran who served as a vital member of HRH’s leadership team for over twelve years. He served as Chief Financial Officer and later as Executive Vice President and Special Advisor to the Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer. His impact on our organization was profound, and he will be deeply missed both personally and professionally.
