Our Beginnings...

Lasting Impressions started on March 4, 2002 when Tom and Shannon Wassam received their first placement into their home. They opened their home to kids with disabilities because they believe that everyone deserves a loving home and a family. Over the years Lasting Impressions has provided services to 10 individuals. As these kids grew into adulthood, Lasting Impressions transitioned from operating one group home in Smithton, MO to operating two Independent Supportive Living Homes in both Smithton and Sedalia, MO. We currently provide residential services and Personal Assistance services our individuals.
