7 of Swords 4 of Wands Knight of Cups The Hanged Man
Plain and simple, the 7 of Swords shows secrecy, lies, and distrust brought into a partnership (4 of Wands) by the Knight of Cups. This intentional manipulative behavior is by choice; calculated with precision.
It destroys integrity and erodes the very foundation.
The Knight of Cups is charming, self-gratifying; all about his own needs.
The 7 of Swords shows he is narcissistic and knows how to present caring, yet, quite covertly, opposite of his intentions..
AKA the Jack of Hearts, he offers up in his cup of love everything you believe you want.
Having been transparent about your desires and needs made this easy for him.
Transparency is not his code of ethic.
He has his own terms that you're not privy to.
Gaslighting transparency as invasion of privacy.
Superficial. Lack of depth. No accountability.
He has a complete disregard for the unspoken rules most live by.
Rarely a guilty conscience, because he lacks the basic morals most of us were taught as children.
It is as if he has failed to reach the age of reason and has no concept of what is right and wrong, or he knows better but was excused in formative years likely by a parent.
Maybe Mother taught him little white lies are not harmful but helpful. Leading by example with "I told a little white lie to protect their feelings".
Not only justifying the lie, reinforcing it is for another's benefit.
Regardless, what started small continued as a larger way of life.
After all, the reward is win-win as long it remains undiscovered .
Hanged Man energy now has the Knight upside down tripped up hanging by his own "rope".
He can only look at it all from a different perspective;
Transparency is also being "seen through" and another has gotten "his number".
No charm, tactics, or licks in his bag of tricks is going to work.
"This is who you are now, but, this is who you can become" said by his partner believing the delusion the Knight has the ability to change.
This Knight now simultaneously holds his greatest hope and burden. That of really being seen.
He desperately wants to become a better version of himself.
This vision is terrifying because this requires transformation.
Facing core wounds, feeling shame, and acknowledging the damage caused over his lifetime; as well as sitting with vulnerability without his structural defenses.
The Knight has always chosen betrayal over the pain of healing.
His partner heals from his betrayal and has foreclosed the possibility of the road not taken that they may have lived, had he been capable of doing the work.
This is an unrecoverable loss.
The most devastating proof is his stagnation while watching his former partner flourish in the same space once diminished by loving him.
The tragedy, a forever loss of the very person that really saw him and would have born witness to his redemption.
