This is the result of using a human placenta derived product containing peptides and cytokine growth factors. The patient is a male with a deep frown line he wanted augmented. This was a simple injection under the frown line with the placenta derived product. The results are impressive after only a short period. The peptides and cytokine growth factors induce collagen and elastin formation while recruiting stem cells. Other options are surgery which is invasive and expensive or Botox which is temporary and not natural.

Here is a question we received

Does Dermapen work as well as fractionated laser for removing under eye wrinkles? I'm curious because I have been using a lot of different facial tightening creams and wrinkle creams and not getting very good results. I want a better solution than what I am getting from the creams.

Here is our answer;

Medical micro-needling, when properly done and combined with effective skin care products such as human growth-factor serums such as Platelet Rich Plasma, has been shown to give as good or better results than laser or Fraxel treatments. And at a fraction of the cost! Compared to fractionated laser treatments, micro-needling not only spares the epidermis, it strengthens it. The key to micro-needling is the healing response that this process stimulates. The keratinocyte is responsible for releasing several growth factors that promote and organize underlying cell turnover to facilitate skin rejuvenation. Repeated "stimulation" of healthy keratinocytes with Dermapen leads to release of growth factors and cytokines that optimize cell-to-cell communication between keratinocytes, melanocytes, and fibroblasts. When these signals are boosted, fibroblasts differentiate to form normal collagen and greater amounts of hyaluronic acid.

The result is restoration of a thicker, healthier looking skin!

This is Platelet Rich Plasma Treatment administered to both hands in a 56 year old women. This is only one treatment and is just one week later. The fingers were not treated just the hands. There is a noticeable difference in skin texture and thickness.

Platelet Rich Plasma is obtained from the same patient and administered back to the same patient after processing the blood through a centrifugation procedure. Numbing cream is applied in this case to the hands and then a small 30 gauge needle is used to make many small injections in the superficial tissue The subcutaneous tissue of the hand is also filled with PRP following the multiple superficial injections.

Note, Dermapen can be used to micro-needle the hand and followed with PRP massaged onto the hand and then subcutaneous filling of the hand with PRP.

The fingers were not injected in this case.
