My brother is vary ill in Florida. Please help.

Hello everyone. I just posted on the Melbourne page, and I thought I'd post on my regular page here. I went to see my brother today and found out that they had taken him to the hospital. Apparently he isn't doing as good as we thought. He's in recovery right now and had surgery a little bit ago and there isn't good blood flow to what is left of his left leg. He had been doing so good eating good again laughing carrying on. And now a huge setback again. In doing so well it helped me because I was in the hospital last week because of all the stress. And told me to take it easy and go to the beach and relax and now this. It goes the stress level again. And top it off it has been hot. It's so hot in this band today cuz I don't have air conditioning. Don't have money to do a hotel anymore. Don't how much money left for the month anyway. It's costing more than I thought. But I'm sure not leaving him I'm here for the duration.

I wanted to post an update for everyone who had donated and helped out with the GoFundMe to get me to Florida. Before I came here my brother was ready to just die in the hospital. He told me he just wanted to die when I got here. He got an infection and spend an additional 3 weeks in the hospital fighting this but the more I was here the more he tried to fight and get better. Now is back at the Viera Del Mar Health and Rehab here in Melbourne. It's a long-term care facility where he will probably be for long term. It's a fantastic place and I'm really impressed. And man has he made a turnaround. He is happy he is anxious to get the rehab going which they are doing very well with. So he can get out and take a ride in the van and get out for the first time since October. The change since I've been here is amazing. If it wasn't for you all, my brother would be dead. He is a new man. The nurses said this has made a big impact on him me being here. And it's been fun to be with him. But the stress of everything and trying to run the GoFundMe took its toll on me. I was in the hospital for 3 days about 3 days ago. Chest pain and it just got to me. I hadn't taken no time really for myself and had to have a heart cath if you're done. The way I have eight stents in my heart they were open enough that it was okay. But they said it was time I started taking time for myself. And take a few days each week and go to the beach or something and relax. And I've taken that advice. Yesterday I went to the beach. Was really hot down here. So while I was out a little over waist high the waves are coming it was really fun a sea turtle popped up right next to me who is a little head up and looked at me and just floated there a few and then slowly went back down and swim away. Just something like that can sure make your day. But today and I'm on my way back up to see my brother I'm going to watch Nascar race with him today. But since he's doing so much better I'm doing better too thanks to all of you who have helped. Tough still to make it down here. Go fund me still going but I'm not going to post it people are probably tired of seeing it. So thank you all very much for me and my brother.

It looks like when I get out of the hospital, I will have to get a place for a week. I can't afford it. So I will have to post this GoFundMe again, which is embarrassing enough. I have to fix myself some before I can be there for my brother. I don't know how long I'll be in here. But I am at Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne.

Been tough on me down here in Florida. My brother doesn't know yet but I've been admitted into the hospital. Severely dehydrated, and been having chest pain. I have a lot of stents already in my heart, and it looks like I might have to get another or more. I'll know tomorrow after I get a heart catheter. But what's worse is after you have something like that you're not allowed to drive for many days nor pick up things that are over a gallon of milk or something. Well I'm here alone and I have to drive. Man this sucks.

Update on my brother. He it's still fighting infection in the leg that was removed there. It's been over 2 weeks and he's been back in the hospital fighting this infection. Four surgeries and still on antibiotics for it. He's pretty weak, so it's taking longer for him to heal. He sleeps most of the time. I'm going to be down here for a while cuz I'm not leaving him like this by himself. He has no one down here. So I'm keeping the GoFundMe going, so I can stay here as long as I need. I appreciate any help anybody can do. Share like everything you can get this out there so I can hand the help that I need to stay here. Thank you very much.

This has been tough. He still has infection in the leg that was amputated. Two weeks now. It's tough seeing him like this. Low now on funds as this has cost more then I expected. Please share if you can or help if possible. 🙏

I made it here last night to see my brother. Tough seeing him like this. I can hardly recognize him. It's been a long time since I have seen him. No I just got to figure out where I can park my van every night to sleep. I'm at a truck stop a little north of there right now. I'm going to be staying in my van. So donations right now will really help so I can continue to stay here. They're hoping I can bring him out of his depression. It doesn't want to do anything. I have my work cut out for me. I'm hoping to get him into shape within the next month, so I can maybe move him out to Arizona where I live. He has nothing here anymore. He's in a nice facility. That's really impressed last night when I got there. This has been a long trip for me. It's hard for me to drive many miles a day. I am disabled myself. It took a week to do the trip. And it was fun. My old trusty van did good. The 10 Mi for the gallon is not good. Thank you everyone who's helped. If you can share this with friends and stuff that would be great. I'm going to need money to live on.
