Exciting News! 🌵

With the opening of Studio AHA as part of Agave Healing Arts in Bell Rock Plaza TODAY, we’ve been asking… how can we bring people even closer to nature in the healing process?

Introducing our locally-sourced, free-range, sustainably-harvested goathead (aka puncturevine) acupuncture needles. 🌿

Say goodbye to metal disposables and hello to a more grounded experience.

Because healing should come with a clear AHA moment. ✨
(You’ll feel it immediately… probably in your foot.)

An experience that really sticks with you.

Okay this might be one of the yummiest things I’ve made in a while.

Everything in this bowl is green 🌿

Cooked spinach with goat butter and broth, freshly chopped dandelion greens, mixed into soaked kelp noodles, a few sprigs of homegrown arugula, and a sprinkle of nutritional yeast.

That’s it.

And somehow it turns into this deeply satisfying, savory, mineral-rich bowl that actually tastes like real food… like noodles… but lighter, cleaner, and so supportive.

The kelp noodles soften and take on that perfect noodle texture. A little bit of crunch at first, which I love, and by tomorrow after sitting in the fridge it gets even better. Everything melds together and becomes even more delicious.

What I love about this is that it’s not trying to be anything fancy. It’s just simple ingredients that the body actually recognizes.

Spinach softens and nourishes
Dandelion brings that gentle bitterness that supports the liver
Kelp adds deep mineral content
Arugula lifts it with a little brightness
Nutritional yeast brings it all together with that savory, almost cheesy flavor

In spring, this kind of food makes so much sense.

In East Asian medicine, spring is connected to the Wood element and the Liver, which is all about movement, flow, and clearing what’s been stagnant. Cooked greens are one of the easiest ways to support that without overwhelming the system.

It’s warm, it’s digestible, and it actually helps the body move instead of getting stuck.

This is the kind of meal that feels simple but does a lot.

And… it just tastes so good!

There’s something really supportive about simple, cooked greens this time of year.

Tonight I made a full pot of organic spinach in the Instant Pot with a few spoonfuls of broth (bone broth or vegetable broth both work) and a couple tablespoons of goat butter. After cooking, I folded in about 1/2 cup of freshly chopped dandelion greens and let it all gently wilt together.

That’s it. Simple. Warm. Nourishing.

In spring, the body naturally begins to move and clear. In Chinese medicine, this season is connected to the Liver and the Wood element, which governs the smooth flow of Qi. When things feel stagnant, we can feel it as irritability, tension, or digestive sluggishness.

Cooked greens like spinach soften and nourish, while dandelion brings a gentle bitterness that supports bile flow and helps the body process and release what it no longer needs.

Warm, lightly cooked greens are especially supportive right now because they:
• are easier to digest than raw foods
• support mineral absorption
• gently encourage elimination without strain
• help the body transition out of winter and into movement

This kind of meal isn’t about restriction or rules. It’s about listening and giving the body something simple that it can actually use.

Sometimes the most healing foods are the least complicated.

With ease,
Aime 🌸

Recipe:

Instant Pot Spring Greens 🌿

This is one of the simplest, most nourishing ways to prepare greens right now.

Ingredients:
• 16 oz organic spinach (one full container)
• ~3–4 tbsp bone broth or vegetable broth
• 2 tbsp goat butter
• pinch of mineral salt
• ~1/2 cup freshly chopped dandelion greens

Instructions:
1. Add broth to the Instant Pot (this prevents burning).
2. Pack in the full container of spinach. It will cook down quickly.
3. Add goat butter and a pinch of salt on top.
4. Close lid, set valve to sealing.
5. Pressure Cook (Manual) → 0 minutes on High.
6. As soon as it finishes, quick release immediately.

Open, stir, and then:
7. Add chopped dandelion greens.
8. Turn on Sauté mode for 1–2 minutes, just until wilted.

That’s it. Soft, mineral-rich, lightly bitter greens that support digestion, liver function, and gentle spring detox.

Optional:
• Let excess liquid reduce slightly on Sauté
• Or keep it as a nourishing broth

Simple food, deeply supportive.

🌼 AcuNidra — Ear Acupuncture, Yoga Nidra & Sound

Sunday, March 29 | 10:00–11:00am

As spring begins, there’s often a natural pull toward doing, creating, and moving outward. Taking time to rest alongside that movement helps everything become more intentional, more grounded, and ultimately more joyful.

I’m offering a small group AcuNidra session — a quiet, restorative space to settle the body, soften the mind, and come back to yourself.

This experience weaves together:
• ear acupuncture
• guided Yoga Nidra
• sound healing with Becky Filson

It’s simple, gentle, and often surprisingly powerful for the nervous system.

🌄 Studio AHA is Opening in Sedona 🌄

Beginning March 25, Studio AHA will open in Bell Rock Plaza in the Village of Oak Creek as part of Agave Healing Arts, a space devoted to healing, restoration, and nervous system care in the heart of Sedona’s red rock landscape.

Agave Healing Arts currently offers individual acupuncture, community acupuncture, and AcuNidra, (acupuncture, yoga nidra and sound healing) with additional healing modalities coming soon.

Acupuncture helps the body reset and restore balance. People often seek acupuncture for support with the negative effects of stress and overwhelm, pain and tension, sleep difficulties, seasonal allergies, nervous system regulation, general well-being, and more.

To celebrate the opening of Studio AHA, we are beginning Community Acupuncture in April.

🌠 Community Acupuncture 🌠

Community acupuncture allows several people to receive acupuncture at the same time in a calm healing environment. It’s a wonderful way to experience acupuncture regularly and affordably while still receiving care.

AcuNidra Retreat — Bahamas 🌊 August 12–15
2026

There are certain places in the world where the nervous system softens almost immediately… where the air feels lighter, the colors brighter, and time gently widens. The Sivananda Ashram in the Bahamas is one of those places.

Nestled directly on a quiet stretch of turquoise ocean, the ashram offers a rare combination of natural beauty, spiritual depth, and simple, nourishing living. Palm trees sway over open-air yoga halls, meditation bells float through the breeze, and the rhythm of the day unfolds between practice, reflection, ocean walks, and rest.

This place is especially meaningful to me. It is where I completed my original yoga teacher training and where I experienced moments of deep inner clarity, expansion, and quiet transformation that continue to shape my path and the work I now share.

This August, I’ll be offering a small-group AcuNidra retreat within the living container of the ashram experience.

Each day will include:
• Gentle, deeply restorative AcuNidra sessions (stimulation of ear points + Yoga Nidra + sound)
• Daily yoga classes suitable for all levels
• Meditation and satsang woven into the rhythm of the day
• Spacious time for journaling, integration, and ocean presence
• Connection with a small group moving through the experience together

The ashram itself provides an all-inclusive environment designed to support inner quiet and renewal — including nourishing vegetarian meals, community practice, and continuous access to one of the most beautiful beaches imaginable. The ocean is always there, just steps away, inviting you into stillness, play, and reflection.

Participants often describe their time here as both grounding and expansive — a space to rest deeply, reconnect with themselves, and experience yoga not as something they “do,” but as a way of being.

If this retreat is calling to you, I would love to share more details and personally guide you through the next steps.
