There’s a lot of noise around what yoga is supposed to be.
Flexible. Advanced. A certain “look.”
But most of it misses the point.
Yoga isn’t something you achieve
it’s something you return to.
A steady breath.
A lengthened spine.
A moment of stillness you didn’t realize you needed.
Here, we’re gently unraveling a few of the common misconceptions…
so the practice can feel a little more open, a little more approachable, and a lot more your own.
Whether you’re just beginning or coming back to it, there’s space for you here.
✨ Take a look and notice what resonates.
If you feel called to experience it in person, we offer private sessions and small group classes in Sedona.

Not every powerful pose looks intense.
Sometimes it looks like sitting, breathing, and simply being.
This week’s Yoga Pose of the Week is Easy Pose (Sukhasana) a gentle yet powerful posture that invites stillness, awareness, and ease.
In a world that’s always moving, Sukhasana reminds us to slow down, soften, and reconnect with the breath.
It’s where clarity begins… and where balance returns.
✨ Benefits of Easy Pose:
• Encourages mindfulness and presence
• Promotes a calm, steady breath
• Improves posture and spinal alignment
• Creates space for meditation and inner awareness
Whether you’re starting your practice or coming back to yourself, this pose is always here to ground you.

Strength isn’t always loud.
Sometimes it looks like standing steady and reaching higher.
This week’s Yoga Pose of the Week is Warrior I (Virabhadrasana I) a posture that embodies focus, grounding, and upward energy.
With strong legs rooted into the earth and arms reaching toward the sky, Warrior I reminds us that true strength is the balance of stability and expansion.
✨ Benefits of Warrior I:
• Builds strength in the legs and core
• Opens the chest and shoulders
• Improves focus and balance
• Cultivates confidence and inner power

Some of the most meaningful moments in our journey come from hearing the stories of the people who have been part of this community from the very beginning. 💛
Meghan was one of our early students back in the Gettysburg days, and it has been such a gift to watch this community grow together over the years.
From small studio classes to retreats in Sedona, what we’ve always hoped to create is a space where people can reconnect with themselves, find inspiration, and share meaningful experiences with others.
Hearing that our Sedona retreat gave someone permission to truly take time for themselves reminds us why we do this work.
Thank you, Meghan, for your beautiful words and for being part of this journey with us.
✨ If you’ve been thinking about joining us for a class or retreat, we’d love to welcome you.

We offer several types of classes and here is a brief description of each:
All Levels:
This class is designed with modifications as well as opportunity to grow in your own practice. The emphasis is on proper alignment and adjustments. This is a great class for beginners or well seasoned yogis alike!
Yoga with Reiki:
This is a more gentle All Levels class that has a longer warm up and cool down with individualized reiki at the beginning and the end of class. During the more active portion of the practice, reiki will be sent to the entire group. Enjoy this class while receiving healing energy leaving you feeling refreshed both physically and energetically.
Vinyasa Flow:
This class is similar to the All Levels but offers a flow for the transitions from each pose. You always have the option of taking your own variation or stepping back to Down Dog. Our instructors will guide you though the practice with verbal cues and transitions. This class is recommended for beginners as well as those with an established practice. It moves more quickly than the All Levels but is still accessible to most folks.
Power Flow:
This class will have you finding your edge as you hold poses longer and build strength. While this class is also good for beginners we do encourage to listen to your body and take a flow or a resting pose as needed.
Restorative Yoga:
Restorative yoga is known for its relaxing, calming and healing effect. The intention is to relax as much as possible into each posture, using as little physical effort as possible. This allows the mind to focus on the breath and release tension from the body. Restorative yoga classes are slow paced, with postures that are held for long periods of time. Props are used for each posture in order to allow the body to be in the most comfortable, supported position possible.
Aerial Yoga:
Aerial yoga uses silk hammocks to support you as you move through various poses and inversions. The silk encourages longer stretching while your weight is being supported allowing for deeper stretching and encouraging flexibility.
