Contagious afro sound and melodic vocals with mantric ethno breaks are putting Aklea Neon in the spotlight as on of the brightest aspiring artist of the year in Croatia.
This fairy of rhyme and beat, as media likes to call her, has only five singles behind her and already an immense following. What sets Aklea apart from the singer-songwriter crowd, is her magnetic presence and a unique one-woman-bend approach while performing live.
In her most loved single “Zovi ju mama” (Call her mama), inspired by wildfires all over the globe, she flirted wit dub and psy sounds to channel an important ecological message. Her single «What I Want» is a real visual candy and true sonic treat filmed in Peru during Aklea's adventure moto-trip. The tune is recorded in London and produced in Croatia by a well known dub master Dr.Obi from Amplifyah music. Aklea is a big fan of sound system culture and therefore has a pumped up dub act with a selector Mirna Blondie.
Doing her tunes and beats alone Aklea is keeping it authentic, lyrically slick and above all, conscious. Always ready to spread her circles, Aklea toured all over Balkans and further from Berlin to Ada Bojana. Aklea is also working intensively on her debut album planned to be published I the beginning of 2022.

Tickets are $100 per person, with 100% of funds raised by ticket sales going directly to the causes specified for this event.

Let’s open our hearts to support indigenous communities in South America through an evening of performing arts and celebrations. Let’s come together to experience an eclectic offering of dance and music from renowned artists from all over the globe. Join us Live in Sedona, AZ, or virtually through our Livestream, and help raise funds that’ll go towards supporting indigenous communities in Peru, Ecuador, and Brazil.

World Consciousness Alliance - Campaign Funds raised will go towards providing greenhouses and supporting vertical farming initiatives for native communities in at-risk Amazonia regions, and empowering women to lead their local communities which are suffering the instability in the region. In addition to difficulties from the destruction of their rainforest habitats and livelihoods, these communities have lost economic support from tourism during the pandemic.

The World Consciousness Alliance, in support of ACT Foundation and Nexos Comunitarios, presents the Global Festival of the Arts – Opening Our HeARTS to South America, which is a charity benefit concert in Sedona raising funds on behalf of at-risk indigenous communities in Peru, Brazil, and Ecuador.

Artists will be stepping to the stage both live (in-person) and via video from 4 countries in South America to come together on behalf of these indigenous peoples of Amazonia that need our help.

Likely days will be Tuesday, Thursday and some weekend days.

Festival Entry and Parking Crew is seeking people who are willing to work exchange for festival passes. Work exchange is equivalent to $20/hour. This is not a paid position. This is a work exchange.

Work 8 hours = 1-day festival pass (either two 4-hour shifts or one 8-hour shift)
20 hours = Lite Pass (10 class pack for any day of the festival)
