Guadalupe County seeks input on its draft Major Thoroughfare Plan
Guadalupe County will host a public meeting to unveil its draft Major Thoroughfare Plan; a planning tool for the County’s future roadway system. Maps, with draft colorized routes identified as thoroughfares will be presented for public review and comment before the Commissioners’ Court formally adopts the revised plan later this year. The current draft Major Thoroughfare Plan was adopted in 2012.

Where: Geronimo Community Center, 280 Navarro Dr, Seguin, TX 78155
What: Come-and-go open house format where attendees can view exhibits and speak one-on-one with planning team and County Commissioners.

The Guadalupe County Office of Emergency Management will conduct a test of the Regional Emergency Alert Network (REAN) on Friday, August 29, at 10 AM. During this test, residents within a 2-mile radius of a siren tower will hear the outdoor warning sound.

Plan to attend and if you are a veteran participate in the Honor Call for those Texas Vietnam Veterans still missing.

September 16th from 10-2pm the VOC is hosting the, "Prepare for the Future" fair. (enter through the back gate).

Don't leave your families with questions- this is for all ages to learn how to prepare: financially (bank account info), write wills, respite care, brain research, business preparation, home care, insurance, Medicare, burial, home health., funeral arrangements, etc.
