February is coming in hot, next week..... okay, maybe not hot yet, but you get the idea.
February 26th we will have our Resource Round Up from 10-2pm. We'd love to see you here.

We're not rootin' or tootin', but we are bringing the "Resource Round Up" to the VOC.

Come on out February 26th, from 10am-2pm and visit with the likes of the Lionheart Walking club, Wood working, financial assistance orgs, VA programs, PTSD Foundation of America, and job assistance programs.
Hope to see you there- enter through the back gate.

Today we delivered the stockings to Veterans at Walnut Springs nursing home and Argent Assisted Living. We went with the American Legion Post 245, and Santa.

We will be closed this week- Wednesday-Friday, then next week for only New Years Day.

We are looking for help filling the stockings for local veterans in nursing homes. Please drop off items here at the VOC.

Snacks, hats, lotions, lap blankets, anything to fit in a stocking is beneficial.

Cocoa & Cookies Social at the Veterans Outreach Center, December 16th from 5pm-7pm.

Come visit us, drink some cocoa & have a cookie, then help us with Operation Stocking Stuffer and prep items to be delivered before Christmas to our Veterans in area nursing homes.

UPDATE- Filling the stockings will happen on Dec 16th, 5-7pm.
Cocoa & Cookies Social from 5-7pm.
We don't need stockings- just lots of great items to stick in them.

Operation Stocking Stuffer 2025 is in full swing!!!
This year we are looking for items to put in the stockings: gloves, wool caps, socks, lap blankets, candy and treats! Drop them off here at the VOC until Dec 18th.
Let's put a smile on the Veterans living in area nursing homes!!

The Traveling Vietnam Veteran Wall is open 24 hours a day until Sunday at 8am. Located at the Smokey Joes Ball Field.
It will be taken down starting at 8am, if you'd like to assist please stop by that morning.

0800-Parade Line up
0900-Parade start from College st on Austin st
1100-Assembly/observance inside the Coliseum
1200-Proceed to Smokie Joe Field for AVTG Grand Opening
