Heads up, Guadalupe County! 🚨 On Thursday, April 2, 2026, Guadalupe County, Comal County, and the City of New Braunfels will test emergency notification systems beginning at 10 a.m. as part of a statewide drill. While testing begins at 10 a.m., notifications may be received at different times.
During the test, residents may receive a message on their cell phone, a call on their landline phone, an email, notifications on social media and websites, and hear outdoor warning sirens.
Remember the Emergency Alert System Test – April 2
On Thursday, April 2 at 10 am, Guadalupe County will join surrounding agencies in a statewide emergency notification test.
Residents may receive alerts via phone, text, social media, or hear outdoor warning sirens.
This is only a test. No action is required.
