Funeral Services for Reverend Lynn McGarity will be held Saturday the 25th of October at New St. James Baptist Church in Seguin, with interment following at Garden of Memories Memorial Park. Visitation will be Friday the 24th from 4 to 6pm at Eunice & Lee Mortuary chapel. Reverend McGarity is survived by one sister, Esther Parker and daughter, Cheryl Cunningham, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Dwight Eric Ussery passed peacefully Sunday September 14 in Seguin. Memorial services will be held Saturday September 20, 11 am at Temple Missionary Baptist Church, 745 Morning View in San Antonio, TX. He is survived by many relatives and friends.

Willie Charles Bonds passed Wednesday, August 27th at the age of 81. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 5th, 10:30 am at New St. James Baptist Church; a viewing will precede the funeral, with interment following at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park on Hwy 46 in Seguin. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Mary Matthews Bonds; children, Carline Rogers, Darlene King, Willie J. Bonds, Mary Ann Missy Durst (Rodney), Jeannette Henderson (Shawn Jr.), Stevie Robinson & Johnnie Robinson (Michelle); sisters, Rosie Coleman and Lou Bertha Williams, 27 grandchildren and 40 great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 10 am, Tuesday, August 5th, 2025 at Refuge Church of our Lord Jesus Christ in Seguin, with interment following at Garden of Memories Memorial Park. She will lie in state at the church from 8:30 to 10 am preceding the funeral. Laura is the daughter of the late Chester Perryman, Sr.

Rochester Zachary Whittington passed from this life, July 3, 2025 at his home in Cuero, Texas at the age of 69. He is survived by his brother Elder Douglas Whittington, sister, Kelly Lewis, along with other relatives and friends. Funeral arrangements are pending.

Charles Priestly passed away, May 19th at the age of 78. Funeral Services are scheduled for Friday, May 30th, 11AM at Greater Refuge Church in Seguin. He will lie in state at Greater Refuge from 9am to 11am with interment at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery Monday, June 2nd at 1:45 pm. He is survived by children Sheniqua Priestly & Charles Priestly, Jr and sister's Josephine Dolford & Erma Jean Gallimore.
