🦋This week we joined The Chamber, Schertz, Cibolo, and Selma, for their luncheon and had the chance to learn about the cities’ structural growth plans for the year ahead. It was great to attend with our new Executive Director, Jana Evans, and hear how collaboration and planning continue to shape a strong future for our region. 📈

Love 💕 is in the air! …Love for our misson.

Today, Cora, a Seguin homeschoolers mom, hosted a special Valentine’s exchange event for homeschool children in the Seguin area.

Their hearts were big as they collected Valentine’s 💘 day cards for the clients we serve. How amazing is that! 😊 Thank you for this heartfelt gesture. 😍

THCC staff also took the opportunity to do outreach.

We had the opportunity to attend the Karnes and Wilson County Juvenile Probation meeting and discuss in detail how we can work together as community partners. We also talked about teen dating violence and healthy vs unhealthy relationships- fitting since February is National Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month. Thank you for having us! It was a great collaboration and meeting of the minds.

Wilson County is one of the counties we humbly serve.

🚨 1 in 3 teens experience teen dating violence. 🫶🏼

Thank you to the City of Cibolo for including us in proclaiming February as National Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month 🧡

It takes a village to raise awareness about the prevalence of teen dating violence. Prevention efforts take all of our voices 🗣️ and platforms. Together we can make a difference.

At last night’s City Council meeting, Council formally recognized the Designation of February 2026 as National Teen Dating Violence Awareness and Prevention Month.

We extend our appreciation to our local partners who joined us to receive the proclamation and for their continued work advocating for youth and families in our community.

Today we wore orange 🧡to raise awareness about teen dating violence during National Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month.

It is so important to start the conversations with our teen population of what healthy relationships look like and do NOT 🚩look like. Sadly, teen violence is common; it happens and too often it goes unrecognized and unreported.

Thank you for standing with us to join the movement in raising awareness about teen dating violence, which affects nearly 1 in 3 teens.

We encourage everyone to support promoting healthy, safe and respectful relationships.
