• Light a candle to create a calming atmosphere
• Wrap yourself in a cozy blanket for comfort
• Journal your thoughts to release and reflect

As the school year progresses, many students face tougher coursework and rising expectations. As a parent, your support can make all the difference.

Here are a few ways to help your child adjust:

▪️ Listen First – Let them share how they’re feeling, without judgment.
▪️ Help Them Stay Organized – Calendars, planners and routines can help reduce stress.
▪️ Encourage Breaks & Balance – Rest and play are just as important as study.
▪️ Offer Support, Not Pressure – Remind them that effort matters more than perfection.
▪️ Reach Out for Help Together – Teachers, counselors and tutors are valuable allies.

Your encouragement builds resilience. Remind your child: it’s okay to struggle, and it’s brave to ask for help. How do you support your child in managing academic expectations?
