The joint MLK Wreath Laying and Candlelight Vigil presented by the Brothers of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Delta Pi Lambda Chapter, and the Ladies of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Zeta Eta Omega Chapter at Historic Tabernacle Baptist Church was a great way to conclude our local MLK Weekend of activities. One of the most inspiring moments was hearing our young people read Dr. King’s “I Have a Dream” speech, which was a powerful reminder that his vision lives on through the next generation. As we reflected together, we were reminded of the continued importance of pushing Dr. King’s legacy of peace, justice, and equality for all. May all of us keep the dream alive through our words, actions, and unwavering commitment.

Also, special thanks to all participants, presenters, and our community partners. In light of recent events, we must focus even more on this issue to save more families and improve the quality of life in our community.
