Exciting news ALICE is on its way!

Meet ALICE in Alabama...

New research from shows that of the 2,024,236 households in Alabama:
➡️ 16% (or 324,705) earned below the Federal Poverty Level
➡️ 30% (or 604,048) of them are ALICE, earning above the Federal Poverty Level but still not making enough to survive and meet basic needs.
➡️ Totaling 46% of Alabama households that are below the ALICE Threshold.

The ALICE Threshold measures households that don't earn enough to meet the Household Survival Budget (housing, childcare, food, transportation, health care, technology, miscellaneous, and taxes).

We all know ALICE.

Join United Ways of Alabama on June 26th at 1pm for the launch webinar of the Alabama ALICE Report. Featuring special speakers and a Q&A, this webinar will begin the statewide dialogue of how we can improve life in Alabama for ALICE.
