Yes!! We spend our whole lives doing all the things we're told that we are supposed to do. Striving to become someone that is acceptable to society. Who are we really? Why are we here? We need to shed all of that old programming and allow ourselves to begin remembering who we really are and why we are really here.

How often do you live in the present? It is challenging to allow ourselves to just simply be and allow our breath to guide us from one moment to the next. It is also a respite from our stressful lives. CHALLENGE: Set a daily timer for 10 minutes to just practice being in your body in the present moment. When you start to have thoughts that you should be doing something else, just allow it to move by and bring your awareness back to your breath and your body and remind yourself that this is your time, your self-care and you deserve it.

It is with deep sadness and a very heavy heart that my co-therapis Peanut had to leave us and go to the Rainbow Bridge. One of his most favorite things to do was to go to work and love and get loved on by all of his friends. He healed me tremendously, but I also know that he healed so so many others!! He was an extremely special boy and it will take a long time to heal from this void in our lives. Thank you Peanut! Fly high with the Angels our good boy! We know you'll always be with us in the office continuing to heal those who need it.❤

The Europeans have the right idea! Napping during the workday to increase productivity as well as month long holiday! We need more opportunities to restore ourselves instead of shaming these practices and making "lazy" references.

You should sleep well when you are alive, not when you are dead.

Especially with all that's happening in the world these days! If you don't take care of yourself first you will be unable to take care of anyone else.
