Wednesday's Wellness event was a powerful reminder of why knowing your standing matters. When people know their standing, they gain the power to take control of their health, protect their partners, and access the care and resources they need. Knowledge truly is power, and removing the fear and stigma around testing helps build healthier communities.

One highlight from the event was seeing people come together to ask questions, learn, and take that important step toward knowing their standing. Conversations were started, awareness was spread, and it was inspiring to watch individuals prioritize their health. Moments like this remind us that education, support, and community make a real difference in ending stigma and encouraging everyone to know their standing. 💙✨

Happy Monday! ☀️ Let’s start this week strong by busting a common myth about HIV.

Myth: You can get HIV from hugging, sharing food, or using the same restroom as someone living with HIV.

Fact: HIV is not spread through casual contact. You cannot get HIV from hugging, shaking hands, sharing food, or sitting next to someone. HIV is only transmitted through specific body fluids like blood, semen, vaginal fluids, re**al fluids, and breast milk.

Knowledge is power! 💪🏾 The more we learn, the more we can stop stigma and support healthy communities.

Today, Selma AIR, Inc. showed up to Meadowview Elementary for Reading Across America and let’s just say… I do so like reading here and there… I do so like reading ANYWHERE! 💚📚

In honor of Dr. Seuss Week, we read Green Eggs and Ham and these Pre-K scholars had BIG opinions, okay?! 😂

They would not eat them in a box.
They would not eat them with a fox.
But they WOULD laugh, point at the pictures, and ask me to read it again and again! They also let me know when the book was about to end 🤣

Thank you Meadowview Elementary for letting Selma AIR celebrate Reading Across America with your amazing little readers.
